A very happy client.. (this is not his picture it's AI generated he didn't want his picture taken while he was poorly)
He had a Nasty infection and a fall which led to hospital admission and then discharged home to 'live' bed bound with 2 carers 4x a day, equipment to hoist out of bed.
4 weeks before his fall he lived alone fully independent.
4 weeks after discharge he was feeling better and wanted to get going again, the family contacted me and 6 months later, a bit of a rockie recovery with a UTI and other medical investigations along the road. He has worked very hard between sessions and yesterday walked himself to get his newspaper on his own, no longer has carers and his mood, he says" is better than it has been in a long time."
He has his routine of weighted, standing exercises and activities that he does each day to continue to build strength, balance and resilience.
Next goal to get rid of his frame, we are nearly there.
It is an amazing feeling, I am so proud to be given the opportunity to change someone's life like this.
