🌟Today we celebrate our Social Prescribers🌟

At The Ridings Medical Group, we have two amazing and experienced Social Prescribers - George and Molly, both working across all of our 5 sites.

George and Molly support people by connecting them to local activities, groups and services in the community to help meet the social, emotional and practical needs that may affect their health and wellbeing. They cover a whole range of areas and can help with:

Low mood
Anxiety and stress
Isolation and loneliness
Bereavement support
Carers support
Housing issues
Debt / welfare
Healthy lifestyles and exercise referrals
Domestic Violence
Employment issues
and much, much more...

🚨 Meningitis B Vaccine – Important Information 💉
The Meningitis B (MenB) vaccine was added to the routine childhood immunisation schedule from 1st September 2015.

Children born before this date will not have received the MenB vaccine as part of their routine vaccinations.
At present, there have been no changes to the national immunisation schedule, and there are no plans for a catch-up programme.

For children born After 2015 please check their online record to check that they are up to date with their vaccines.
