*Identifying birth parents, even if no names are known and no certificates can be found, using genetic genealogy and modern research tools.

*Finding birth siblings and other biological relatives including grandparents using DNA match analysis and genealogy, which is genetic genealogy. Also using modern research tools.

*Acting as an intermediary to contact genetic relatives, after searching for them using modern tools, if necessary. This includes finding people via non DNA research routes. I always act with care, empathy and sensitivity during any form of contact with people I have located.

*Helping uncover family medical history through biological relatives, without you requiring direct contact, if that is requested.

*Advising you on the best DNA test for your circumstances. In most cases for people who haven’t tested yet, the starting place is an AncestryDNA testing kit. Ancestry has the biggest database. It takes about 6-8 weeks to get your results online after sending off the saliva sample in their kit, after registering the kit online.

I have been a bit quieter on here as my head has been down, working hard on trying to solve a case for a very elderly gentleman who has never known who his biological father was. I really hope I can get him an answer, finally. 🤞
