Some GP practices are taking part in a Protected Learning Time session on Tuesday 10 March between 1pm and 6pm.

Practices take part in a number of sessions throughout the year to allow staff to access training. During this time:

🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE 🚨

Major renovation works will be taking place at Muiredge Surgery over the next few months - mainly in the corridors and reception area.

We hope to keep disruption to a minimum, however there will be noise and you may be need to wait, and be seen, in a different part of the building.

From 15th October onwards, to reduce footfall through the works, we will not be taking appointment requests at the front desk. Please call 01592 713299 at 8am for appointment requests.

Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated while we make these improvements to the building.

Muiredge Surgery will be closed for training on Wednesday 18th June between 1pm and 6pm.

If your condition is life threatening please call 999.

Alternatively, if you require Urgent Care between the hours of 1pm and 6pm the please call 01592 729250.

After 6pm please call NHS24 on 111.

The practice will resume normal working hours on Thursday 19th June 2025.

Did you know about Fife’s infant mental health team?

Babies need the people looking after them to understand their needs so that they can be nurtured and protected.

There is a lot that can get in the way of the love and understanding needed for healthy attachments between parents/carers and their babies. Having a network of people who can help, for example partners, family and friends can be enough, but not always.

Following referral by a health visitor or family nurse, we meet with parents or carers to learn more about the support you and your baby might benefit from. During appointments, we can think together about your baby’s emotional needs.

We also run an eight-week Solihull postnatal plus parenting group for babies under the age of six months and a Circle of Security parenting programme for children aged six months to three years.

You can ask your health visitor or family nurse to contact the Infant Mental Health Team to discuss a referral.
