🕯️ Just a wee reminder folks, our two Advent Services of Remembrance is two weeks today and already 120 tickets have been taken. ⭐

Hello all,

🕯️ We will be having our Advent Services of Remembrance on Tuesday the 2nd of December. 🕯️

The afternoon service begins at 3:30pm with doors opening at 3pm and our evening service beginning at 7:30pm with doors opening at 7pm.

🎶 We will have carols, readings and solo performances and will have refreshments and home bakes for after. ☕️ 🧁

⭐ You can also write a message on one of our stars for our Christmas tree that will be in the chapel. 🎄

🎟️ They are ticket only events, which you can reserve tickets via the crematorium office. The tickets are free, this is for us to manage volume.

All are welcome and we hope to some you there.

Barry is one of those rare people who lifts the whole atmosphere simply by being himself. Always a smile on his face, always ready to go the extra mile, and always steady, calm, and supportive — he is an absolute pleasure of a colleague to work alongside.

Whether he’s guiding families, supporting Funeral Directors, or helping celebrants like myself behind the scenes, Barry does it with kindness, patience, and a genuine desire to make every service run smoothly.

People often don’t see the quiet work that makes a crematorium run with dignity and care — but Barry is at the heart of that work every single day.

It’s an honour to include him in this series.
