We began the day with our church service and observed two minutes of silence in honour of Remembrance Day.
In the afternoon, we enjoyed our now very popular Tuesday Trip Out 🚐✨ With lovely cafés and ice cream nearby, we’re lucky to be in such a fantastic neighbourhood where a treat is always close at hand! 🍨☕🌞

Yesterday, our residents attended the Remembrance Sunday Service and parade. Patrick, a former WW2 pilot, and Audrey, whose first husband served as a pilot of a Halifax plane proudly laid poppy wreaths at the Buckingham Parish Church Memorial on behalf of the RAF. We were honoured to support them. 🌺🌺🌺

Art and Craft – Remembrance Poppies 🌺

Today our residents made poppies to mark Remembrance Day. The activity provided a calm and reflective time to remember and show gratitude to those who served. The poppies have been displayed proudly in the home. 😊🌺

🎃 Halloween at Clarendon House

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Halloween celebration today! The morning was spent with friends from the local community over coffee and beautifully decorated cupcakes, lovingly prepared by our Catering Manager, Susan. In the evening, everyone tucked into a delicious homemade pumpkin soup, made from pumpkins picked by the residents on yesterday’s farm trip. 🍂🧡

🎃 A Spooktacular Start to Halloween at Clarendon House! 🎃

We’ve had a wonderful couple of days filled with music, laughter, and Halloween spirit! 👻

Yesterday we welcomed the fantastic Year 3 pupils from Buckingham Primary School, and today we enjoyed a lively Halloween-themed session with Gwen’s Singing with Toddlers. Our residents had a truly heart-warming time celebrating with our youngest visitors. 🎶🧡

In line with our consent and confidentiality policy, we will be sharing photos of our residents only to protect the children’s privacy.

A huge thank you to Buckingham Primary School and to Gwen for making these moments so special. 🎃👻
Bringing generations together is what makes our home feel truly alive. 💛
