🌟 Sharing my journey! 🌟 Four months post-hip arthroscopy and labral repair, and I’m feeling stronger than ever! 💪 Prehab was key—uncomfortable but achievable. Despite the pain during running and cycling, I stayed committed to strength work. The first month post-op wasn’t easy, but sticking to my rehab plan paid off. Now, I’m running pain-free and hitting personal bests with 1.5x bodyweight squats and 2x bodyweight deadlifts! 🏋️‍♂️ Next challenge? Increasing running mileage and getting back on the bike! 🚴‍♂️

🎥Shoulder warm up video🎥

Warm ups are getting overly complicated with foam rollers, trigger point balls, activation sequences and self myofascial releases, when all we want to do is lift 🤷‍♂️

This warm up goes through general shoulder mobility to increase temperature of the joint and adjacent structures, increase heart rate, increase blood flow as well as prepping you physically and mentally.

The video goes through gross movement, movement with tension to recruit muscle and task specific warm up sets.

Time 5-10 min

If you intend to perform military press then a set of back squats will warm up the posterior chain and may help with lifting.

A few pics taken for which I’d like to share with my clients so you know that I do actually practice what I preach 😁

👉 it’s not always about lifting heavy, just keep moving
👉 Form/technique is individual so it’s ok, if you looks different from the dude on Instagram or other comparators
👉 I alternate heavier and lighter weeks
👉 I don’t beat myself up if I miss a session. Tomorrow is another day and overall consistency is what counts.
👉 Just keep moving 🕺💃
