🎨🍿 What a fun-filled week it’s been! Early in the week, our residents got creative with crafts, painting, and popcorn bag making — all ready for an afternoon of laughter, music, and singalongs with our wonderful entertainers. 🎶💚

We also had a fantastic day at the Bake Off at Agnes and Arthur! 🥧 Although we didn’t take home the trophy this time, we had such a lovely day meeting new friends and enjoying every moment. Because it’s not about winning — it’s about making memories together. ❤️

A Heartfelt Thank You: Spreading Christmas Joy! 🎄

We are absolutely delighted and touched to announce that we have received a wonderfully generous, anonymous donation of over £180, from a member of our dedicated care team.

This incredible act of kindness, given with the sole intention of bringing joy and festive cheer to our residents, perfectly embodies the generous spirit of our staff community.

This fantastic sum will go directly towards enhancing our Christmas celebrations, ensuring we can spread even more happiness across the home, for our wonderful residents 🎁

🍂✨ It’s was a busy and joyful weekend at The Place Up Hanley!

We started with some gentle exercises to get everyone moving after a few relaxing days, followed by a full-on dance party afternoon – with plenty of laughter, music, and great company! 💃🎶

Residents also enjoyed autumn walks, a lovely visit to St Mary’s Church for service, cake and coffee ☕🍰, and a thrilling James Bond movie afternoon complete with snacks and smiles. 🎬🍿

A wonderful few days filled with fun, friendship, and plenty of feel-good moments! 💛

Residents enjoyed mindful colouring, a little pampering, and some autumn-themed arts and crafts – making beautiful leaves and acorns with different patterns and paints.
