Burnout rates remain high across the UK workforce, particularly in women aged 35–54.

ONS labour market data continues to show stress as a leading cause of sickness absence in organisations.

But stress doesn’t just affect how we feel.
It affects how our body functions.

Ongoing stress can influence sleep, digestion, immune response and hormone balance.

Whole-person health means recognising that physical symptoms are often connected to emotional and environmental pressures.

Health is rarely one-dimensional, which makes Kinesiology a perfect solution.

Kinesiology works with the body as an integrated system, supporting the body to return to overall balance, rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
It looks at 4 main realms of health and addresses imbalances wherever they are found: Physical, Mental/emotional, Biochemical, and Energetic/electrical.

If 2026 is your year to address your health and well being as a whole, you can find your local KA qualified practitioner to support you on that journey here: https://kinesiologyassociation.org/find-a-practitioner/

TMJ and the Emotions

This is my (amazing) tutor, the headache & vertigo was mine 💫♥️👌🏻

Last weekend and through to Monday, reminded me again, why I love teaching kinesiology…not that I really need reminding!

Saturday and Sunday I was with Diploma students. They’re learning amazing techniques, doing deep work, asking curious questions, and experiencing first hand what bodies do when they’re listened to.

One example is a student who arrived with vertigo and a headache.

After a practice session, and a cervical vertebra that needed gentle correction, both symptoms had settled.

Monday, I was with my current group of Foundation students.

During a demonstration exploring how emotional trauma can be held in tissue, one of them experienced a full nervous system release. It’s incredible (and an honour) to watch the body reset in real time.

Not only are these amazing people learning a new modality to be able to help others, but they also get a health and well-being check in for themselves.

This is what I love about teaching kinesiology.
It trusts the body’s intelligence.

It reminds us that guidance doesn’t come from outside, it comes from inside the body.

It reminds us that the body does keep the score, but that it also wants to release layers that no longer serve us.

That’s where kinesiology tools and techniques come into their own.

Gentle, non-invasive, using biofeedback to find out what’s needed.

All we have to do is learn how to listen in.

✨My next Foundation training begins in June, and the waitlist is now open.
✨I’m also opening the waitlist for my next Diploma training starting January 2027.

If you feel drawn to work with people in this way, this path has a way of finding you.

And when it does, it’s usually because something in you already remembers.

Just magical. ✨

Just home and reflecting on weekend 8 of 12 of the Kinesiology Diploma.

After giving, observing & receiving a balance, the weekend focussed on structural corrections on the back.

I started the weekend & this morning with a touch of vertigo which has now cleared, (I’m putting it down to a new technique which worked for me- but we’re all different)
It’s always so interesting how the body communicates its needs….now to put it into practice 🙌🏻

What a great quote this is!
Getting to the root cause is always the goal with a Kinesiology balance.

January was my busiest month so far….& the reasons people came?

✨ Hormones-we balance the whole Endocrine system rather than individual elements
✨ Digestion-we look at the whole digestive tract because often, where the issue is presenting isn’t the root cause
✨Emotions-we are emotional beings so this is always involved in a balance, but this was a specific phobia we worked on
✨Joint pain & stiffness
✨An imbalance with allergens such as dust & pollen
✨Regular client wanting a general MOT, plus a few others 😉 👌🏻♥️

What a fascinating month….
I wonder what February will bring!

There’s more to magnesium than you might think!

There’s more to magnesium than you might think!

Mighty Magnesium!

There are so many benefits to having enough of this wonderful mineral in the body.

First of all, it's an amazing relaxant. It can help with constipation, sleep, reducing stress levels but that's not all! Check out the image below for all of the other benefits.

A deficiency in magnesium has also been linked to ADHD, due to it's role in neurotransmitters that control emotion, social reactions, hyperactivity and attention.

Other reasons why you need enough magnesium are to help activate Vitamin D, to help control sugar cravings, to support bone health, to help get quality sleep, to fight inflammation, to regulate cortisol, to support healthy hormone balance and to help leg cramps.

Foods that are high in magnesium are, avocados, walnuts, spinach, peanuts, milk, salmon, to name but a few!

Are you getting enough magnesium?

Our practitioners check whether your body is in need of magnesium, as well as the exact form that your body needs.

📣Spotlight on walnuts!

Walnuts are one of the most nutrient-dense nuts you can eat and you only need a few to make a difference.

✨ Here's why walnuts are worth adding to your day:

Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which support heart and brain health

High in antioxidants, which help reduce inflammation

Support cholesterol balance and cardiovascular health

Provide plant-based protein, fibre, magnesium and vitamin E

Linked to better gut health and more stable energy levels

⭐A small handful a day (around 30g) is enough to get the benefits.

You could try sprinkling them on your breakfast, adding them to salads, or eating them as they come.

🤎WALNUT Bach Flower Remedy is fantastic for transitions and times of change.

It's brilliant emotional support for:

New beginnings - starting Uni, a new School, a new Jobs, Moving house

Endings - Divorce, Leaving school, Leaving a job & colleagues you loved, Leaving a place you had a connection with (a town, a house)

Beginning / Endings of Cycles - Puberty, Becoming a Mother, Menopause

If change is upon you, Walnut will help you to navigate the transition and adjust to the new.

✨Happy New Year✨
I am nearing the end of the Kinesiology Association Diploma course which will make me a full Kinesiologist 🙇🏻‍♀️

Whilst I am very grateful to all of my case studies so far, for this final course requirement I need 5 people who are;
🌟 new to Kinesiology testing
🌟 happy to commit to having 4 sessions (1 per month over 4 months)
🌟 interested in the natural approach to wellbeing

One session is always beneficial but, with regular multiple sessions we can work at a much deeper level, working on & clearing stressors from the body, using the whole person & root cause approach.

If you are interested & ready to commit to the 4 sessions, I am offering a special, discounted rate so pop me a message & we can chat about how this can work for you.
🙏🏻 Thank you 🙏🏻

Last weekend was module 6 of 12 - the halfway point on my Kinesiology Diploma course🙇🏻‍♀️

This time we focused on structural imbalances these included
🔹TMJ (the jaw)
🔹the back
🔹carpal tunnel
🔹lymphatics
🔹ligaments
🔹‘shock absorbers’ (perfect for the mum of a goalie😉)
🔹plus a few others 🫣

In the week leading up to this my back had gone pop as it does a few times a year ✨ love a bit of divine timing ✨ so we were able to work on this 😇
it’s now a bit achy & stiff which is different, so fingers crossed we’ve fixed it for good this time!

If you think I might be able to help you whether it’s structurally or across the other realms we work on
🌟Nutritional
🌟Emotional
🌟Electrical
Then pop me a message & we can have a chat to see if the new ‘tools’ in my ‘toolbox’ could help you.
