Hello everyone,

Clinic is closed next week as I’m on my corporate induction back into the NHS with mandatory training required of all nurses and then we’re taking a much needed 4 night break to Palma.

Clinic resumes the following week, but it’s fully booked until the 17th March.

My new role back in the NHS is 18 hours a week which still allows me to run the clinic as well, but with more stability both professionally and financially. I’m also looking forward to working in a team again and for all my compassion to go somewhere needed.

Thanks for keeping my clinic is busy, full of laughter and stories.

See you after my well needed break.

Here’s a little secret…

I’ve had a space in my heart for a couple of years now that has felt vacant and redundant and I wasn’t sure why.

Medical aesthetics is such a privilege and I love it so much, I’m honoured to be a part of the community and watching it change for the better recently is so exciting.

And then there’s the dear NHS. It’s in a pickle, but it’s epic.

For 20 years the nurses, doctors, midwives (see 1st pic), cleaners, receptionists, porters, pharmacists have all been a huge part of the tapestry that has been my nursing career and quite frankly I miss them!

To even get started on the dear patients and their wisdom, stories and experiences is enough to well up and I’m so looking forward to nursing them again.

My clinic is my absolute baby and I’m so excited to see it go from strength to strength. It’s not going anywhere. In fact it’s only getting better.

There will be some shifting about inevitably but I remain confident that with further education, training and new equipment we can provide first class medical aesthetics in the heart of Bude.

Thank you for your ongoing support and love at Isabelle Wellness, the door very much remains open for hugs and self care.

Regulatory bodies such as the NMC for nurses or GMC for doctors require ms us to document EVERYTHING we do! From your medical history to the doses used it all goes into your notes and stays there a confidential system to allow us to give you safe and honest care.

I’ve spent my career as a nurse sitting at either a laptop or in the nursing notes and it doesn’t end in clinic.

Introducing the newest member of our professionally registered team here at Isabelle Wellness.

Gabrielle will be joining as our Registered Associate Nutritionist and is the owner of here in Bude.

Here’s a little introduction:

’Hi I’m Gabrielle, my interest in nutrition began 5 years ago after struggling with acne since I was 13. Endless courses of antibiotics ruined my gut health leaving me with abdominal pain, bloating and fatigue. Over 10 years later I now have a First Class Honours Degree in BSc Nutrition and I am part of the accredited Association for Nutrition register as an Associate Registered Nutritionist (ANutr).
My interest in nutrition sparked from personal experience, I took control of my health and wellbeing and now you can too!’

We’re so happy to be expanding our team to offer a full approach to health and to work in collaboration with such a passionate and lovely professional.

Gabrielle will be working from our clinic and is offering a £100.00 introductory price to include a fully comprehensive package which includes a 1 hour consultation, personalised plan, food analysis diary, and ongoing support.

Meet the Registered Nurses at Isabelle who prescribe and administer your anti-wrinkle injections and emergency medicine.

Kally is an NMC Registered Nurse and Independent Nurse Prescriber who alongside working within the NHS also prescribes for other nurses and offers cryotherapy.

Kally pops over from Tavistock regularly to offer safe, effective and regulated care and is a wonderful addition to our ever expanding and lovely team here at .

Our next prescriber clinic is Feb 6th at 10:00.
