Prices are:
£27.00 for iced
£20.00 for non-iced

Our cakes are made individually, by hand, by our trainees with the support of our staff and priced accordingly. Launchpad is a non profit organisation training adults with learning challenges in catering and hospitality. We aim to support our trainees to improve their confidence, motivation and develop social skills to achieve their personal goals and ultimately seek employment.

Although our Christmas lunch on the 4th of December may be sold out, let’s not forget you don’t need to be lonely this Christmas! From today Co-op members can officially support Launchpad as part of the Local Community Fund. This means the more members that choose our cause, the more money our project will receive. A massive Thank you to Barry who has volunteered on a very wet and windy Monday morning to clear up a very overgrown garden!

Barry has strimmed & cleared all the weeds and built a composed area in preparation for our Launchpad garden project.

We are still looking for any potential adults with learning challenges that might be interested in becoming one of our trainees carrying out a supervised day service garden project for 1 day a week.
They would learn new skills and build on any existing skills in planting, harvesting and growing produce.

The day would run from 9.30am - 3.30pm alongside our current trainee programme and includes a hot meal and refreshments throughout the day.

Here at Launchpad we have been gifted the use of an allotment to grow our own fruit and vegetables.
We are currently investigating whether there are any potential adults with learning challenges that might be interested in becoming one of our trainees carrying out a supervised day service garden project for 1 day a week.
They would learn new skills and build on any existing skills in planting, harvesting and growing produce.
We would love to make this a source of food for our cafe, but also to provide a community herb garden where people can come and help themselves to our produce.
The day would run from 9.30am - 3.30pm alongside our current trainee programme and includes a hot meal and refreshments throughout the day.
