Hereโs a look at what weโve been up to โ and some exciting things to come.
๐พ Harvest & Autumn Activities
We were honoured to welcome Vicar Julia and church family from the Baptist Church for a beautiful Harvest Service. Thank you to everyone who kindly donated to Budleigh Community Larder.
Our apple trees were put to good use with residents enjoying apple cake baking and chutney making โ from our very own harvest!
๐ต Musical Highlights
โข We're thrilled to welcome back Harpist Cheryl following her injury.
โข The ever-popular Harlequin Strummers continue to visit every two months. We have enjoyed seeing Claire our pianist and Kate & Steve from Musica. We have a new group ladies A Ca****la from Exmouth who are visiting next week.
๐๏ธ RNLI Talk & Christmas Pop-Up Shop โ All Welcome!

Join us for a special visit from the RNLI, who will be giving a talk about their life-saving work. Theyโll also bring a Christmas gift and card pop-up shop โ perfect for early festive shopping. The Exmouth RNLI have said to encourage everyone is welcome, even just to pop in to have a look at the shop!

โข Cecilie a 2nd year nursing student has joined us on placement from The University of Exeter for a 7 week placement. She has come at just the right time as we are implementing a new care plan software - see below!

โข We're looking for a Registered Nurse to cover 1โ2 night shifts per week while Sarah is on maternity leave (until 2026). If you know someone interested in extra hours, please share our details.

Bay Court is proud to become a member of ENRICH, working with the Research Delivery Network to help bring innovation and improvements to care through high-quality research. Watch this space as we look into this further.
๐ค Building Stronger Links in Devon
Dom has joined the board of the Devon Care Homes Collaborative (DCHC) in a voluntary role. DCHC works with care providers, Devon County Council, the NHS, and the ICB, supporting collaboration and training across the county.
