Receiving feedback like this is exactly why I do what I do ✨

Helping people move with more confidence, feel stronger in their bodies, and find ways to move that supports wellbeing is at the heart of these classes.

Clinical yoga combines physiotherapy knowledge with mindful movement, strength work, balance and breathwork to support rehabilitation, recovery and wellbeing.

Current classes:

📍 Red Bay Studios, Budleigh Salterton – Sundays 9:30–10:30

📍 Pi Studios, Woodbury – Mondays 5:30–6:30 (starting 23rd March)

🧘‍♀️ NEW CLASS AT PI STUDIOS

We’re excited to welcome Clinical Yoga with Charlotte to the studio.

Charlotte is a registered physiotherapist with over 15 years’ experience and runs Libra Physio & Yoga, offering classes that combine traditional yoga with physiotherapy knowledge to create a safe, evidence-informed approach to movement.

Expect a blend of stretching, strengthening, balance work and breathwork designed to help you move better and feel more confident in your body.

This class is ideal if you:
• Are rebuilding after injury
• Experience ongoing aches or stiffness
• Want to improve mobility and balance
• Simply want time to slow down, breathe and move well

Charlotte runs these sessions independently at Pi Studios, so bookings are made directly with her.

March Availability ✨

There is no class on Sunday. I'm attending a weekend yoga course. I’m really looking forward to learning and growing and bringing what I learn back into future classes.

I’m also excited to share that a new class has been added at Pi Studio, this offers an early evening option for those who prefer a later practice time. Pi Studio can be found in Woodbury.

All classes can be booked via the website. Please use the link in my bio to reserve your space.

I look forward to seeing you on the mat this month ✨

For rehab, recovery or day to day life.

This sequence is taken from a recent class full of poses that support everyday function.
Think stepping, reaching, getting up and down from the floor.
While also helping active and sporting bodies maintain hip stability, ability to transfer weight and load as well as supporting efficient movement patterns.

Moving slowly through each transition challenges balance, coordination and joint control, helping the body adapt to movement rather than avoid it.

Movement that feels useful.
For staying strong and active long term ✨

Classes are every Sunday at Red Bay Studios in Budleigh Salterton. Link in Bio to book via the website

I keep my classes small ✨

With fewer people in the room I am able to
✨ really see how each person is moving
✨ offer options for different bodies and injuries
✨ make small adjustments before pain or flare-ups happen

So it's not about keeping classes exclusive.

It’s about creating a space where people feel safe enough to relax, rebuild confidence and move forward.

If you’re ready to make a change and would value calm, professional guidance, especially after pain, injury, or time away from exercise

This class may be a good place to start ✨

Happy Friday!

I currently have just a few spaces left in my Sunday Physio led yoga class at Red Bay Studios on the lovely Budleigh High Street. I keep classes small so I can give individual attention and adapt movements to suit each person.

A second class will be added to the timetable soon due to demand. If you were to attend, which days or times would suit you best?

I’ve recently opened up availability for 1:1 sessions for anyone who wants individual support before or instead of joining a group.

If you have any questions or want more details, feel free to comment or send me a message — happy to chat ✨

Triangle pose / Trikonasana

Part of yesterdays class - there are many elements to this pose - all of which benefit us day to day ✨

Improving flexibility in the hips makes it easier to bend down, whether that is picking an item off the floor or deadlifting in the gym.

Opening the chest and spinal rotation counteracts the negative effects of long term sitting and improves ability for improved breathing.

Strengthening the legs and working on balance will improve stability whatever your level of function and sporting ability.

Diaphragmatic Breathing ✨

Breathing efficiently can make a huge difference, which is why I emphasise it in every class.

As you inhale the diaphragm contracts and moves down, the chest cavity expands and your lower rib cage and abdomen expand outward.

As you exhale, the diaphragm relaxes and rises, helping to push air out of the lungs.

There should be little to no movement in the upper chest, this reduces use of the accessory breathing muscles.

Practice diaphragmatic breathing at home in a comfortable position and feel the positive effects or join me on Sundays 09.30-10.30am.

Today’s class was the last one of the year ✨

I’m full of gratitude - for the past two months of physio-led yoga, for everyone who has joined me on the mat, and for the beautiful studio that I feel so lucky to teach in.

I have lots of ideas that I’m hoping to bring to life in 2026, continuing to share yoga and its many benefits with even more people.

I’ll be taking a short break over the festive period.
Classes restart 4th January ✨

There are so many benefits to balance training ✨

Its more than standing still and being perfect.

By adding small challenges such as moving the leg, turning the head or moving the arms — we train coordination, the nervous system, which is the kind of balance we need in everyday life to stay functional and activities such as running or sport.

Using the wall, a kitchen worktop or a study chair for support makes balance work safer, more accessible, and often more effective for building confidence.

Balance training matters at every age and ability ✨
