This weekend we popped along to the Emmanuel Church Christmas Fayre. We enjoyed looking through the amazing selection of books, DVDs and CDs. Manny wanted to purchase some new cookery books for our cooks and we reminisced about some of the recipes.
We then enjoyed a coffee and mince pie while chatting with other people who were enjoying the fayre.

Spud club at Langley Village Hall today 🥰! We look forward to our visit once a month and today was no exception 😍! As always welcomed by the community and the amazing volunteers that organised the club. Wonderful food, company, raffle was brilliant and this month we had a special visitor….
Father Christmas 🎅! Everyone received a gift from him. We are so lucky to have this amazing gathering every month. Thanks again to Langley Village Hall and Happy Christmas to you all 😘
Look forward to seeing everyone in January

A lovely Christmas arts and crafts day in the our home today, filled with joyful singing, festive chatter, and warm moments shared together. ✨🎄

We enjoyed a friendly coffee morning at our local village hall, catching up with neighbours and friends. The local schoolchildren joined us singing Christmas songs, which really put us in the festive spirit whilst We had delicious homemade mince pies, kindly made by the volunteers and a raffle.
We are always made so welcome at all the local events 😃 thank you to everyone that works so hard to make these things happen xx

This afternoon Ian and his friends came to our home to do a religious service, we joined in with some lovely hymns and prayers.
They joined us for a cup of tea and a home Made mince pie 🥧
Gary didn’t want to come out and join us in the lounge and asked for us to join him in his room to say a prayer.
Thank you to them all for visiting 🙏 😃 ❤️

We had a special visit from Santa’s helpers today, spreading Christmas cheer while helping decorate the residents home, they danced and sang all day long bringing big smiles to everyone’s faces…. Let the fun of December begin 🎄

Busy Friday at Bungay House!
We attended Loddon Library for their coffee morning and it was lovely to see everyone and have a natter. Una enjoyed reminiscing about living near Loddon and getting married in the beautiful church ⛪️.
Troy was very helpful at putting air in the staff car tyres.
After lunch a few residents needed some shopping, so we popped along to Morrisons. Manny got some olives and Spanish sausage to make a recipe for his evening meal.

Today we were ladies that lunch at cherrylane garden centre 🪴
After lunch we enjoyed a look around at all the great Christmas stuff 🎄 chatting about what sort of things we like and what colours we think look best on the Christmas trees.
When we returned home we started a Christmas project which involves taking pictures of all the staff 🤶 the end result will be posted in a few weeks 😃

Last night a few of us went to Gorleston theatre to watch Barrytone.
He certainly didn’t disappoint we had an amazing time in a nice upbeat setting where he wiggled his hips and made my ladies smile by singing to them.
Everyone made us so welcome, helping us and chatting kindly to all. We got lots of compliments from the public saying what a great job we do and so cheerful 😃
This is one of our favourite places to visit x

This morning we attended the Holy Trinity Church service in Bungay. This morning’s service was the Festival of the Christ the King. Both residents received holy communion and took part in private prayer. One resident lit a candle 🕯️ in remembrance of his parents.
After the service we stayed on to socialise with the congregation over a coffee and put in our diary’s up-coming services. We then returned home for a delicious roast dinner 😋
