🍂 October Wellness: Nourish & Prepare for Winter with TCM 🍵

As the crisp air settles in, autumn reminds us to slow down and nourish ourselves before winter arrives. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this season belongs to the Lung and Large Intestine, organs that govern immunity, skin, and emotional balance.

Here are a few simple TCM-inspired tips to help your body transition smoothly:
🌰 Enjoy warm, cooked foods — think soups, stews, and porridges.
🍐 Add pears, ginger, honey, and white radish to soothe and strengthen the lungs.
🍵 Sip herbal teas like chrysanthemum, licorice, or astragalus for gentle immune support.
💆‍♂️ Support your energy flow and immunity with acupuncture and Chinese herbs — helping your body adapt, restore, and thrive through the colder months.

Now’s the perfect time to give your body the care it deserves before winter sets in.

✨ Book your autumn rejuvenation session and feel the seasonal shift in harmony.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, pulse taking is one of the most vital diagnostic tools.

It’s not just about counting beats — it reveals the state of your Qi, Blood, and Organ systems.

Through the pulse, practitioners can detect imbalances that may show up as:

🥱 Low energy or burnout

🫄 Digestive weakness (like bloating, IBS, or sluggish metabolism)

😡 Emotional disharmony (stress, anxiety, mood swings)

💤 Sleep issues and restlessness

🔥 Inflammation or internal heat

Your pulse offers a detailed map of your inner world — often before symptoms appear.

The brain and gut are more connected than you might think 🤔

The brain and gut are more connected than you might think 🤔

That bloated, gassy, or uneasy feeling in your stomach? Stress might be the real culprit.
While occasional digestive discomfort is normal, when it becomes a regular thing, it can really start to affect your life. What many people don’t realize is just how much stress plays into poor digestion. When you're anxious or overwhelmed, your body shifts into fight-or-flight mode and that puts digestion on the back burner. The result? Sluggish digestion, bloating, constipation, or nausea.
Stress doesn’t just slow things down it can also stir up or worsen digestive conditions like IBS, ulcers, or inflammatory bowel disease. Why? Because your brain and gut are deeply connected. When one is off, the other often feels it.
The good news: supporting your gut starts with calming your mind. Gentle practices like meditation, yoga, breathwork, or even a simple walk outside can help reset your nervous system. Therapies like CBT or acupuncture may also bring relief by helping you manage stress from the inside out. Your body listens to your brain so when you care for your mind, your gut often follows.

Are You Tired — or Tired in a Way No Coffee Can Fix?

Fatigue can show up in many ways — foggy head, heavy limbs, low mood, or that mid-afternoon crash that keeps dragging on.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we don’t see tiredness as "just being tired."
We look deeper. Is it your digestion that’s not extracting energy? Are your body’s reserves depleted? Is your emotional load draining your Qi?

✨ Acupuncture and Chinese herbs are powerful tools to revive your energy naturally — without stimulants or side effects. They target the root of your fatigue, not just the symptoms.

🌿 TCM Tips to Recharge:
• Eat warm, cooked foods (soups and stews are your friends)
• Go to bed before 11pm — your body restores Qi best during this time
• Gentle movement like walking or tai chi
• Avoid skipping meals or eating cold/raw foods

You don’t have to push through the exhaustion.

Are you tired of being 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝? Here’s what your body is trying to tell you...

Ever feel like your tummy is puffed up like a balloon 🎈 after eating — heavy, sluggish, or just off?

Bloating isn’t just a random discomfort — it’s your digestion waving a flag for help. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we see bloating as a sign that your digestive energy (we call it Spleen Qi) isn’t transforming food as it should. And when that energy is stuck, your whole system feels it — fatigue, mood swings, foggy head, and low immunity can follow.

✨ How we treat it in TCM: Acupuncture stimulates key points to rebalance your digestive system and get that Qi moving again.
🌿 Chinese Herbal Medicine supports your body from the inside out, strengthening the Spleen and harmonising your digestion.

Your digestion is the root of your energy, your clarity, and your glow. When it works well, you work well.

💡 A few quick TCM tips:
🔸 Eat warm, cooked foods – your Spleen loves warmth!
🔸 Chew slowly and mindfully – digestion starts in the mouth.
🔸 Avoid cold drinks – they weaken your digestive fire.

About Me

My name is Belgude and I am a sole owner and practitioner of AcuBelHP. I came from family that that practices Chinese medicine, which had a beneficial influence on me growing up with close understanding and uniqueness of alternative medicine. This exposure made me inspired on how much differently our body are being perceived from western medicine with the holistic approach and applying different concepts that originated from Oriental Medicine such as ‘Qi’ energetic within the body that travels though ‘meridians’ - energetic channels, and balance between Yin and Yang.

In my practice I offer: acupuncture treatments, Chinese herbal prescriptions, Tui Na massage, cupping and moxibustion therapies.

I have completed my studies both in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in UK and I am a fully licensed and active member of British Acupuncture Council and Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine, which serve as distinctive and leading governing bodies of respective fields in the UK.
