Today, some of our Kingsleigh team have joined colleagues from across the Elborough organisation at the North Somerset Healthy Workplace Awards — and we’re delighted to be part of the celebration as we all take home the Gold Award. 🌟

For us, this award reflects the kindness, commitment to wellbeing, and inclusive spirit our Kingsleigh team brings every day, alongside the wider Elborough teams.

Today has been an inspiring chance to connect with other providers who share our values, exchange ideas, and learn from approaches that genuinely make a difference.

We’re proud to be part of an organisation that places healthy workplace culture at its heart, and we’re excited to see the Kingsleigh team continue to grow and adopt even more practices that support staff wellbeing and positive working environments.

Today we’re at the North Somerset Healthy Workplace Awards event, celebrating with so many brilliant, values-led organisations, and taking home our Gold Award. 🌟

It’s an uplifting day, surrounded by like-minded businesses who are all committed to building healthier workplaces, stronger teams, and kinder cultures.

For us, this award isn’t just about meeting criteria. It reflects the everyday choices our team makes: supporting one another, prioritising honesty, creating space for wellbeing conversations, and making sure people feel able to bring their whole selves to work.

Being part of this programme has encouraged us to look at what we do with fresh eyes, and today we’re really looking forward to learning from other providers who share our commitment. There’s something powerful about coming together, exchanging ideas, and collaborating on goals that make a genuine difference. And even at Gold, our learning is far from finished. We’ll keep striving to do more — to listen, to adapt, and to stay open to new approaches that genuinely support people.

We’re proud of what we’ve built, and even more excited for what comes next.

We’ve had such a wonderful afternoon here at Kingsleigh House.

Residents, their families, and our staff team came together to enjoy a relaxed afternoon tea. The event was a lovely opportunity for families to meet our new Registered Manager, Caroline, get to know our team better, and spend time together as one community in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

It was a joy to see new connections made, conversations flowing, and plenty of smiles around the table. Moments like these remind us how special it is that families and residents place their trust in us and choose to make Kingsleigh their home.

We want to shine a spotlight on our growing team here at Kingsleigh. We feel very lucky that our staff have chosen to join us in this new venture, and we’re grateful for how they are contributing their individual skills to help build a unique service designed around each resident’s needs. They have been instrumental in developing systems, navigating changes, and supporting new residents as they join.

Every day, our staff make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Their kindness, creativity, and dedication bring comfort, joy, and reassurance, and it’s wonderful to see the professional relationships building with residents and with one another. We’re proud of how our team has grown and developed with us, and we look forward to seeing each individual continue to flourish in their careers here.

As our home continues to welcome more residents, we are looking for new care assistants to join our team. If you’d like to be part of a place where both staff and residents are welcomed, supported, and valued, we’d love to hear from you.

Life at Kingsleigh House is well underway

Over the past few months of being open, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming some wonderful new residents. As they begin to settle in, we’re seeing meaningful connections blossom among our residents and compassionate team alike.

There is a growing sense of belonging here, and each day brings new moments of laughter, comfort and care. Memories are being made, and together we are shaping a home that feels safe, supportive and full of joy.

We are gently finding a lovely rhythm to our days. From shared meals and morning chats to peaceful garden walks and personalised activities shaped around what each individual enjoys most.

Our dedicated team are making sure this is more than just a place to live. It is a place where people are known, deeply valued and supported to live well.
