🌺Remembrance Day at KCH🌺

Today at KCH, we came together to remember and reflect.❤️

This morning, we opened up the bar and enjoyed tea, coffee and biscuits while listening to the old wartime classics - sparking lots of chatter, smiles, dancing and heartfelt memories. 🎶

At 11am, we paused for a two minutes silence to honour all those who served and sacrificed.

This afternoon, we continued our theme, with a music memory session - singing along to favourites by Vera lynn and Gracie fields, accompanied by musical instruments and plenty of enthusiasm! 🎤🥁
We rounded off the day with a fun “Who, What, Where, When” Britain quiz - full of nostalgia and friendly competition. 🇬🇧

A wonderful day of remembrance,music, and togetherness 💖✨

Phew what a busy afternoon at KCH today.

Clothes 4 you joined u today with a fantastic selection of fashionable clothes for everyone to browse and purchase - lots of smiles and bargains to be found! 👗🛍

To top it off, the lovely Maria came along to sing for us, bringing joy and beautiful music to our home. 🎤🎼
She even dressed up especially for the remembrance occasion, which made the afternoon even more special.❤️

🌺Remembrance Day🌺

Today at KCH we have come together to create beautiful displays of poppies and remembrance. Each decoration represents our gratitude and the stories we hold dear - stories of courage, resilience, and love for our country.

We remember not only those who gave their lives, but also those who returned home forever changed, and the families who supported them.

🎆What a dazzling day at KCH🎇

We’ve had a wonderful day celebrating fireworks day together. The morning was filled with creativity as everyone got stuck into some sparkling firework themed painting🎨✨
Later, we enjoyed our very own twist on the classic game of apple bobbing🍎- lots of laugher all around!

To finish off a fantastic day, we settled in for a cosy afternoon watching a beautiful fireworks display on the TV, complete with mugs of hot chocolates and marshmallows.☕️

What a perfect way to brighten up the day!🎇❤️

Ooo what a busy day at KCH we have had today! We’ve been busy getting the place ready for Halloween - with creepy decorations, spooky surprises, and a fang-tastic festive atmosphere all around! 👻✨

This morning, we also had an amazing pumpkin carving session - and everyone got creative with their designs! Our pumpkins are some of the best we have ever seen! 🎃🧡
