Regular diabetes health checks - sometimes called your yearly or annual review – are part of your routine NHS treatment.
Diabetes can cause other complications that can become serious if not picked up and monitored or treated in the early stages . It's important to get all your health checks so you can get the treatment you need to keep you healthy. If you don’t think you ’re getting the checks you should be, speak to your healthcare

From October to March we can’t make enough vitamin D from sunlight, so to keep bones and muscles healthy, it’s best to take a daily 10 microgram supplement of vitamin D. You can get vitamin D from most pharmacies and retailers.

Please note that the surgery will be closed on Christmas Day (25th December) and Boxing Day (26th December).

📞 If you need medical help while we are closed:
- For urgent medical advice or appointments, please contact NHS 111 (online or by phone).
- In a medical emergency, please call 999 or attend A&E.

The surgery will reopen as normal on the next working day (Mon 29th December).

There’s been a lot of chat about lumps recently, but do you know the other signs of breast cancer?

Checking your breasts is as easy as TLC:

Touch your breasts: can you feel anything new or unusual?
Look for changes: does anything look different to you?
Check any new or unusual changes with a GP

Get used to checking regularly and be aware of anything that’s new or different for you.
