Never underestimate the power of reminding someone of their worth. 💛

Sometimes people don’t need advice.
They don’t need fixing.
They just need someone to look at them and say,

“I see you. You matter. You’re doing better than you think.”

We never truly know what someone is carrying behind closed doors. A kind word, a message, a moment of patience — it could be the very thing that keeps someone going today.

Show up for people.
Encourage them.
Celebrate their small wins.
Remind them of their strengths when they’ve forgotten.

And if you can, be the safe place where someone feels valued just as they are — not for what they achieve, not for what they give, but simply for who they are.

Because when people feel seen and appreciated, they grow. 🌱

Tag someone who deserves to be reminded how much they matter. 💬💖

Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Here’s a gentle reminder from The‑Oasis C.I.C. that small habits can help—especially when life feels heavy. 💙

10 quick mental‑health tips to try this week:
• Move a little each day
• Take moments to relax or breathe
• Spend time outdoors, even briefly
• Aim for a good, balanced diet
• Prioritise restful sleep
• Notice what you’re grateful for
• Keep a simple daily routine
• Reach out and socialise
• Avoid drugs or alcohol as coping tools
• And don’t be afraid to ask for help

You don’t have to do them all at once. Pick one or two, see how they feel, then build from there. Small steps add up. 🌱

At The‑Oasis C.I.C., we’re here to support people taking those first small steps—whether it’s a friendly chat, a low‑key group activity, or signposting to more help. Everyone’s journey is different, and that’s okay.

Why these tips matter: reputable mental‑health guidance notes that healthy lifestyle habits—like movement, nutrition, sleep, social connection and avoiding harmful substances—can support mental wellness and complement other care.

If you’d like a safe space to try one new habit or just talk, you’re welcome to reach out. Share this with someone who might need a gentle nudge today. 💌

10 signs your body’s asking for a massage

Sometimes life gets tight—literally. 😅 If any of these sound familiar, it might be time to treat yourself to a massage:

Persistent muscle tension or knots that just won’t loosen

Frequent headaches or migraines from tight shoulders or neck

Limited range of motion—hard to bend, twist, or reach like you used to

Chronic lower back pain after long sitting or overdoing it

High stress or anxiety that feels like physical tension

Poor sleep or trouble relaxing at night

Slouched posture, imbalanced muscles, or nagging aches from bad posture

Slower recovery after workouts or feeling constantly fatigued

Jaw clenching or teeth grinding when stress runs high

Numbness or tingling, pins‑and‑needles feelings that make you uncomfortable

Book a massage with The‑Oasis C.I.C. — prices that won’t break the bank

If you’ve been nodding along to even a few of the signs above, here’s what we’re offering now:

Indian head massage — £25

Back, neck & shoulder massage — £25

Facial massage — £10

Arm & hand massage — £10

Full Body Massage - £40

Why it’s worth booking

Massage can help with physical tension, stress, and general recovery—simple acts that support both body and mind. A recent, large evidence mapping of massage therapy for pain found that while certainty of evidence varies, there were conclusions of showing beneficial associations with pain.
In other words: people often feel real relief. For everyday tension, stress, or sleep troubles, a short, affordable sessions can be a practical, calming step—and you’re not alone in looking for that.

Some days you quietly give everything you’ve got — your time, your energy, your heart — and it feels like it goes unnoticed.

This isn’t about praise or applause. It’s about feeling seen. Feeling valued. Feeling like the effort you put in actually matters.

If you’re feeling under-appreciated right now, you’re not alone. So many people carry others, hold space, keep showing up… and do it all in silence.

At The-Oasis C.I.C., we see this every day — and we’re here for it. We offer a safe, welcoming space where you don’t have to explain or justify how tired you feel. Whether it’s through our friendship groups, 1-to-1 support, counselling, massage therapies, or simply sitting with a cuppa and being heard, you matter here.

You don’t have to be “strong” all the time. You’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to receive care too.

Just a gentle reminder (to myself as well): your worth isn’t measured by how loudly people say thank you. What you do matters — and at The-Oasis, you matter 🤍

💛 At The-Oasis C.I.C., you are the focus 💛

At The-Oasis, we work in a person-centred way — which simply means we start with you. Your experiences, your feelings, your pace, your goals. There’s no pressure to be anyone other than who you are right now.

We believe everyone has the capacity to grow and heal when they feel heard, accepted and understood. That’s why our support is built on empathy, trust and genuine human connection. We don’t tell you what to do or try to “fix” you — we walk alongside you, offering a safe space where you can explore what matters to you.

Whether you come to our friendship groups, 1-to-1 support, counselling, or wellbeing sessions, you’ll be met with warmth, respect and unconditional positive regard. You are in control of your journey — we’re just here to support it.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, isolated, anxious, or simply in need of somewhere calm and welcoming, you are not alone. You don’t need to have the right words. You don’t need to have a plan. You just need to show up as yourself.

✨ A safe space
✨ No judgement
✨ Your voice matters

If this resonates with you, we’d love to welcome you to The-Oasis 💛
Message us to find out more or pop along when you feel ready.
