We would be delighted if you come and join us on Thursday 26th March to celebrate National Social Prescribing day!!

You can find us at our group Park Social: 10am – 12pm @ the Pavilion on Thompson Park. We will have arts and crafts, games, cycling, refreshments and the opportunity to find out about how Social Prescribing can help you connect to local services, groups and activities to promote your wellbeing.

Wellbeing is about more than medicine it’s about connection, purpose and support. We can help with social inclusion, housing, finances, work and employment, education and more.

🌳 Exciting news from the Burnley East Social Prescribing Team!

We’re launching a brand new group called Park Social – and you’re invited to the first session!

📅 Launch Date: Tuesday 5th August
🕙 Time: 10am – 12pm
📍 Location: The Pavilion, Thompson Park, Burnley

Park Social is for adults aged 18 to 50 who want to meet new people, try different activities, and boost their wellbeing in a relaxed and friendly setting.

We’ve teamed up with Burnley East PCN , and &Culture
to bring you this fantastic opportunity in a brilliant park location with both indoor and outdoor options.

✨ Come along to the launch to see what it’s all about! There’ll be taster activities, free refreshments, and even a raffle on the day.

After the launch, we’ll be meeting every Tuesday from 10am to 12pm – so why not give it a go?

All GP Practices in East Lancashire are closed Wednesday 5th March from 1pm-6.30pm for Protected Learning Time. This enables practices to provide dedicated training to their staff and to discuss and plan ways that will allow them to improve services, meet demand and support the wellbeing of staff.

If you have a booked appointment please still attend.

For all life-threatening medical emergencies please hang up the phone and call 999.

If you feel your request is urgent and cannot wait until the following day provisions have been made for urgent triage, please hang up the phone and call 111.
