We’ve just received another great review on google. “Majestic Care looked after our father in the last year of his life. They have fantastic management- be proud of your team! The carers they have are exceptional. Thank you for what you’ve done for us”

If you want an easy Monday – Friday job, don’t apply to be a community carer.

But if you’re already in a boring 9-5 job and getting no job satisfaction, then maybe its time to start thinking of trying something new.

We are looking for carers to work after 4pm and up until 10.30pm daily.

Starting at 4pm means you’ll be mainly preparing meals, administering medication, helping with some personal care, some light domestic duties and helping our service users feel safe and secure for the evening now that the nights are getting darker.
You’ll still get chance to keep up with Corrie and Emmerdale, you’ll just be sat with a service user keeping them company after completing your visit tasks, and you might even have time to enjoy a cuppa with them.
You’ll work with a great bunch of staff and we all work as a team, so you’ll always feel supported. Even if you don’t see any other care staff on your evening shift, you’ve got access to our on-call person for advice and back up.

You’ll need a full driving licence, your own vehicle and a sense of humour, but the main thing is that you actually care about the individuals we support, because lets face it, even though we are skilled, the government don’t see it that way, so the pay isn’t excellent.

We are paid every 4 weeks, and you’ll also receive mileage payments on top, as well as being paid for your travel time between visits.
So, if you can spare a few hours each week between 4pm- 10pm (will include alternate weekends) then please get in touch, either by phoning our office during normal office hours on 01282 450043 or emailing lauralopez@mcn.agency

We cover the Burnley, Pendle and Hyndburn areas so you would be expected to cover all areas at times, so again, if you don’t like driving in the dark or in all weather conditions or on the motorway, this isn’t the role for you

We like to show our appreciation to some of our amazing staff members each month.

Last month one staff member received this crate of beers on her doorstep (we know her well enough to know that she prefers these over the traditional flowers or chocolates).

And there’s another gift on its way to another staff member this week. 👀

A lovely card received ❤️

“The job itself and the continuity of my rota and hours, the office staff are always on hand if I need them and I find them all very approachable and if I ever have a problem or need help with anything big or little they go above and beyond to help with it.”

This is just one of the responses we have received from our staff on our recent questionnaire when we asked what they liked the most about working here.

If you’d like to join our amazing team of carers, please give us a call to discuss our current vacancies on 01282 450043.

*Users of lifesaving alarms encouraged to call their providers to access additional free support with the switchover from copper to digital landlines.

If any of our service users need help with this, please just ask your carer to call your telephone provider who can check you're all set up to continue using your equipment.

*During the switchover, telecoms companies will send engineers to help customers and test connections of telecare alarms used by 2 million nationwide.

*Comes as BT and Virgin Media launch national awareness campaign, supported by the UK Government, to ensure no one gets overlooked during vital digital migration.
