Peacefully at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy on Friday 5th December 2025, James "Jim" aged 89 years of Kirkcaldy, beloved dad of Brian and Lorraine, loved father in law of Andrena and Owen, loving grandad of Ryan, Lauren, Rebecca, Rachael and great grandad of Robyn, dear friend of Valerie.
He will be sadly missed.

Funeral service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Monday 22nd December 2025, at 1.30pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please.
Donations in memory of James may be given at the service for Ward 53 Victoria Hospital if so desired.

Peacefully in the loving care of Ostlers House Care Home Kirkcaldy on Saturday 6th December 2025,"Isa" aged 94 years formerly of Dick Crescent Burntisland, beloved sister of Nan, much loved aunt, great aunt and a dear friend to many.
She will be sadly missed.

Funeral service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Tuesday 23rd December at 12.45pm to which all family and friends

Gillian Margaret

Tragically on Thursday 27th November 2025, Gillian, aged 82 years of Aberdour, formerly Lincolnshire. Loving mother of Nathan and Sarah, devoted grandmother of Rebecca, Leah, Imogen, Niamh and Nicky, also a dear sister and aunt. She will be sadly missed.

Funeral service at Dunfermline Crematorium on Friday 19th December at 1.15pm thereafter to St Fillan's Church Aberdour for 2.30pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Gillian may be given at the service for the Scottish Air Ambulance if so desired.

Peacefully at his home in Kinghorn, on Saturday 22nd November 2025, Derrick, aged 68 years, beloved husband of Pamela, cherished friend of Alex, Elizabeth, Arlene and Summer. He will be sadly missed.

Funeral service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Monday 15th December, at 11.00am, to which all family and friends are welcome.
Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Derrick may be given at the service for the Salvation Army,

Sincere thanks to Camilla House Care home staff for all their dedicated care and attention given to Grace. Special thanks to Rev. Alexander Ritchie for his lovely and comforting service, Neil Robertson, Church Organist and Piper, Brooklyn at the cemetery for the lovely music, Darren Rankin of Rankin funeral Directors for all his personal care with all the funeral arrangements. Thanks to Jason and the staff of The Sands hotel for their hospitality and service. Lastly, thank you to everyone who paid their last respects at the Church and Cemetery and who generously donated to the collection for the SSPCA which amounted to £300.00.

Peacefully after a long illness bravely fought at Victoria Hospice on Sunday 23rd November 2025, Allison aged 58 years of Dalgety Bay originally Burntisland, beloved daughter of the late Norman and Isabel Duthie, loving sister of Steven, also a dear friend to many. She will be sadly missed.

Funeral service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Thursday 11th December at 12.45pm, to which all family and friends are welcome.

Peacefully at Camilla House Care Home Auchtertool, on Tuesday 4th November 2025, Grace, nee Bett, aged 88 years, of Burntisland, beloved wife of the late William, loving mum of Barry, Brenda, Stuart and Andrew also a much-loved granny, great granny, sister, aunt and a dear friend to many. She will be sadly missed.

Funeral service at Erskine Church Burntisland on Thursday 27th November at 10.15 am to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, thereafter to Burntisland cemetery for 11am. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Grace may be given at the service for the SSPCA if so desired.

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy on Thursday 30th October 2025, Glenys, nee Bowman, aged 83 years, of Dunfermline, beloved wife of James, a loving mum, gran, great gran, sister and aunt. She will be sadly missed.

Steven, Marysia and Eileen and all the family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for all the cards, messages and support shown after their sad loss of Mima.
Special thanks to Rev Jim Reid for his lovely service at Burntisland Parish Church, Jem Mathewson Civil Celebrant for her comforting eulogy at the Church and Crematorium, to the organist Neil Robertson and piper Jim Forbes for their lovely music, to Rankin Funeral Directors, for their professionalism, compassion and support. Thanks to Dal and the staff of The Kingswood hotel for their hospitality and service.
Lastly thank you to everyone who paid their last respects at Burntisland Parish Church and Kirkcaldy Crematorium and who generously donated to the collection for Alzheimer Scotland in memory of Mima which raised £441.11.

If you are looking for a poppy for Remembrance this year, we have them available at the Funeral Home .

We are once again selling our packets of poppy seeds at £2 per pack, these come with a lovely card containing the words of the Flanders Fields poem.

We also have a few Wooden Crosses at £3 available. All proceeds to Poppy Scotland.
