Peacefully at his home in Burntisland, on Wednesday, 4th March 2026, William (Billy) aged 71 years, formerly of Mid Calder, beloved husband of Jean, loving dad of Euan and Kirsty, also a much-adored grandad. He will be sadly missed.

Funeral Service at Rankin Funeral Directors Service Room, 239 High Street, Burntisland, KY3 9AQ on Thursday 19th March, at 10.15am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, thereafter to Burntisland Cemetery for 11am. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Billy may be given at the service for the Marie Curie, if so desired.

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy, on Wednesday, 4th March 2026, Richard “Tricky Dicky” aged 76 years, originally Birmingham, beloved husband of Jackie, loving dad of Tracy and Lea, devoted grandad and great grandad, loved brother and uncle, dear friend and neighbour of 20 years of Stan the man.
He will be sadly missed.

Funeral Service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Monday 23rd March, at 11am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Richard may be given at the service for the British Heart Foundation, if so desired.

Peacefully in the care of Aston Court, Sutton Coldfield on Sunday 18th January. Jean Watson (nee McQuade) devoted wife of the late Eddie and loving mother of Audrey and Denise. Beloved Grandma to Rhona, Cameron, Isobel and Duncan. Formerly of Greenmount Road South Burntisland.

Reception of remains at St Joseph’s R.C. Church Burntisland, on Friday 27th February at 4pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday 28th February at 9.30 am to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, committal service thereafter at Kirkcaldy Crematorium at 11 am. Donations in memory of Jean may be given on leaving the service for Alzheimer’s Society if so desired.

Grateful thanks to all staff at the Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy for their care , compassion and dignity shown to Abi throughout her time there. Special thanks to Darren Rankin and staff for their outstanding care, compassion and guidance during this time. To Pastor Euan Richie for his attendance at the hospital and his comforting service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium. Thanks also to the staff at Burntisland Sands for the lovely refreshments.
