As the weather has been warmer we’ve been out and about, shops, Costa coffee, betting shop, some residents wanted to sit out in the garden.
Yesterday, our volunteer Jenita and I took Cookie to the Wych Elm pub for a meal and a few games of bingo.
Kathy (from the kitchen) had popped in to see everyone, (can’t believe it’s been two months already since she left us!)
we persuaded her to come too and also bumped into Wendy, who was our activity coordinator before she took early retirement, it was great to catch up with them.
Food was lovely and the icing on the cake, we won!
Cookie is definitely going again as she won a meal for two!
Definitely recommend going, good value for money, and nice people.
We also stopped off at Heron foods and she bought some sweets and biscuits with our winnings!
