It’s lovely for the residents to be pampered and have their hair and nails done, everyone looks so glamorous and it definitely boosts their self esteem.

Congratulations to Kirsty
for receiving her kindness in care award today from our Deputy Manager Bern.
She is a valued member of the team and was over the moon to have been nominated, she was also totally shocked and surprised!
Well done to a lovely lady and recognition where it’s due.
We don’t ask for it,
but it’s so lovely to be appreciated…
just look at her smile and how proud she is!

Aston Villa update!
A huge thank you to everyone that has donated!
At Chaseview, we like our bedrooms to feel homely and for our residents to be surrounded by the things they love…
Care staff said it would be lovely for Kev to have his bedroom decorated with Aston Villa memorabilia as he is such a huge fan!
I put out a request, and we couldn’t believe the response!
From all the management & staff (and a very happy Kev), a huge thank you to everyone who has kindly donated.
A very special thank you to Danielle Beckett, the schools manager at Aston Villa foundation for arranging a goodie bag which was delivered personally by Tiegan and her managing director Harj from Visiting Angels.
There were so many things in the bag, Tiegan was like a magician pulling out one thing after another, I was waiting for a rabbit!
Kev was so surprised and so grateful that everyone had done this for him that his emotions burst.
It was such a special moment to be in the room!
You have made his day,
I’d say from his face,
his year!
We are awaiting the paint for the feature wall and then we can put every thing up and have before and after photos.

A little start to Valentines Day!
Lots of concentration and a whole lot of glitter everywhere!
Everyone has been thinking of romantic poems and reminiscing about how they met their loved one and how they kept the romance alive.

June was quite tired,
but with the magic of music she woke up and joined in with our singalong.
Usually with Daisy, Daisy,
we sing the same verse a few times but we had the lyrics on the screen and had a go at singing the whole song.
June, you’re a star!
