Many thanks to Images of Burscough for commissioning and funding this play about Harriett Mahood and Edward Bridge, two notable people from Burscough’s history. We were thrilled to write and perform the play and would like to thank Mike Dawson and Lawrence Critchley from Images of Burscough for giving us the opportunity.

Sandy and Tony at Domino would like to thank Sporting Challenge for taking part in Boccia and Wii nights. We would also like to thank all the project members who attend on a Thursday for Work Skills and also to the Drama Group those who have researched, written and performed two plays this year. We have added some pictures from the Christmas performance of “History of the Circus”. Happy Christmas and a great New Year to all of you.

Things are really coming together now in our self-written production of Christmas Pirates. A couple of new people have joined and the story has been re-written to include them. Dances and costumes are nearly there and we can't wait for the performances with live audiences. The cast is buzzing!

Sporting Challenge have started a regular large screen Wii night with Domino at The Arts Centre at Burscough Wharf. Great fun!

The cast are hard at work rehearsing their new production’ The Christmas Pirates’. The show is full of fun, laughter, music and dance. It will be performed for local schools with, almost certainly, an extra performance for friends and families.

I’ve never seen the cast so focussed but it’s not all hard work there are plenty of laughs along the way.

This is the "Navvie Band" with our guest drummer Shan, who kept the beat for us. The musical play to celebrate 200 years of the Leeds and Liverpool canal was written by Mike McCardle and performed by the Wednesday group at the Wharf.
