PrEP is a simple, effective way to protect yourself from HIV 💊❤️

If you’re HIV negative, taking PrEP as prescribed gives you almost 100% protection against HIV.

You can take it daily or around the time of s*x — whatever works for you.

Remember: PrEP protects against HIV only. Condoms still help protect against other STIs.

On Friday we were pleased to welcome Mr Stephen Morgan, MP for Portsmouth, to our s*xual health clinic ahead of World AIDS Day.

During the visit, we shared the work our team is doing to support people living with HIV, reduce new transmissions, and tackle stigma in our community. We also discussed our plans for World AIDS Day, including this year’s theme: “Reflect, Rebuild, Rise.”

Thank you to Stephen for taking the time to hear about the challenges and opportunities in s*xual health, and for recognising the importance of accessible, inclusive services for everyone in Portsmouth.

Together, we can continue moving towards a future where HIV stigma is eliminated and everyone has the support they need to live well.
