Hurst Setter Construction Safety Services is a well established and long standing business that can help support any company in Construction with their Health & Safety requirements.

Whether it be supporting national companies with site inspections right down to smaller companies with retainer services, we cover it all.

Some of our clients include major housing developers such as Bloor Homes, we work with numerous companies in the water industry including Coffee Group & we did work nationally for North Midland Construction before their demise. We provide support to MV Kelly who are a well known, nationwide civil engineering & groundwork specialist plus many more!

We also have clients who work for National Grid, other who build major projects such as high rise flats, schools, colleges and hotels.

Although we do have capacity to cover major clients as mentioned above, we do have many smaller clients who are sub-contractors onsite such as scaffolders, plumbers, joiners, dry liners, plasterers etc. So there is no job too big or too small for us!!

💚Supporting a Cause Close to Home 💚

Our Director, Aaron Boyd, is taking part in the Midnight Walk to raise funds for Rotherham Hospice, alongside colleagues from the Rotherham Schools Select Football Association (RSSFA).

Rotherham Hospice holds a special place in Aaron’s heart, it has supported his family through incredibly tough times and continues to care for his grandad today.

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents,
I have a number of clients in South Mids & West Mids area, that require site inspections with a report, the sites are mainly for a large housebuilder but some sites are just a small subcontractor, 1 – 2 hour inspections.
I am looking for a one-man band who is in the area and could pick these up with some of their own work, between Northampton and south of Birmingham would be the ideal location, the work is ongoing on a monthly basis. The time allocated includes writing the report.
There is currently around 60 hours of site work which will change as new sites come online and old ones complete. We pay £40 per hour; travel is not included unless the distance is exceptional. Hurst Setter & Asssociates Ltd was established in 1992. From this point until 2016 Barry Hurst was at the head of the company and quickly turned the company into a very successful nationwide consultancy offering expert advice to construction companies throughout the UK.

In 2016 Aaron Boyd & Darren Goble took control of the company & with the help of Debbie Manley who heads up the office & admin side of the business, have continued to strive to drive the company forward bringing in more successful clients and broadening the networking circles of the company. The company proudly provide expert advice and guidance to major construction companies such as Bloor Homes, North Midland Construction, British Gas & Persimmon Homes amongst many more.

The approach taken by Darren & Aaron in driving the business forward is that Health & Safety is no longer a business where you just find fault and try to ‘stop the job’, it is now a role where a common sense approach needs to be applied to ensure a job can be completed safely ensuring that everyone returns home from work to their families at the end of the working day. Hurst Setter pride themselves in being able to use expert knowledge of the industry and legislation to be a cog in the wheel to help our clients achieve these goals.
