A lot of back pain clients will often come in to clinic and state “I know I just need to strengthen my core to help my pain” and then proceed to ask which crunches they should do…
The thing is, the body works AS A WHOLE.
And your “core” isn’t just your abs - it’s a system of muscles that stabilise your spine and transfer force through your whole body.
It’s working every time you squat, pull, deadlift, lunge, or press overhead for example.
