💗 The pink buckets are back! 💗

Following the success of last year’s campaign, we’re once again rolling out our pink Lifeline Lamb and Ewe buckets in support of the Pink Ribbon Foundation.

So far, the campaign has raised over £21,000 to help people affected by breast cancer.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us last year — here’s to another fantastic year raising money for a brilliant cause. Your support truly makes a difference! 💪💗

What a fantastic evening at the Scottish Agriculture Awards! 🏆 Rumenco were proud to sponsor the Sheep Farmer of the Year 2025 award - celebrating some of the best and most dedicated farmers in the industry 🐑

🎉 A huge congratulations to James MacDougall and family from Muirhouse Farm, Kilmacolm Farm Tours, this year’s winners. Their third-generation upland stock-rearing farm is a brilliant example of sustainable sheep farming, community engagement and commitment to the next generation. Managing a closed flock of 550 North Country Cheviot ewes, focusing on natural production, environmental stewardship and grass-fed lamb, Muirhouse Farm truly embodies the spirit of progressive sheep farming.

And as if that wasn’t enough, they also took home the Champion of Champions Award! 👏🏼

It was great fun to take a night off the farm and celebrate the best of Scottish agriculture alongside so many passionate people 🥂

It’s breast cancer awareness month and here at Rumenco we’re proud to continue our support for the Pink Ribbon Foundation 🩷

Breast cancer touches so many lives, and early detection can make all the difference. We want to take this opportunity to remind everyone to regularly check your breasts and be aware of any changes - such as lumps, swelling, skin dimpling, pain, ni**le discharge, or changes in appearance. Thank goodness for the rain! 🌧️ As we enter the final countdown before tupping, good levels of rainfall across the country have been most welcomed and given many that much needed boost of grass 🌱

However, it’s important to remember that this grass will be likely more fibrous and contain lower levels of vital sugars than if it had grown earlier in the year. This will make selection of a high energy, high sugar supplement this season particularly important to help both ewes and rams get the most out of pasture!
