As another year comes to an end, it feels good to reflect and share my highlights of this year.
Although I’m sharing the positives, it’s important to also share the challenges I’ve felt and if you’re a small business owner, you might relate…
🌱 wearing the many different hats and often neglecting certain areas of a business; in my case email marketing and blog writing as I lack time and full knowledge of how to navigate the email marketing system.
🌱 worrying when there’s a quiet spell.
🌱 rising costs of materials.
🌱 juggling the everyday life of being a Mum and Wife. Being present for my family and home whilst juggling a business is sometimes one of the most tricky things to manage.
However, I find it rewarding owning my own business and here’s a little snapshot of my year:
1. Always a pleasure running workshops.
2. Youtube has been a big focus for me this year. I created my channel about 4 years ago but never posted until the beginning of this year. It took me nearly 6 months of studying the platform, filming, editing and learning to build my channel. Thank you all for watching!
3. Happy to offer plants for school wellbeing rooms for a second year. Huge thanks to for sponsoring the pots for my project.
4-9. Always enjoy injecting nature and greenery into working spaces for some lovely businesses.
10. It’s coming up to 4 years of stocking at and what a pleasure it is to stock here. If you haven’t visited, make sure to pop in soon.
11. Loved working with Lloyds bank to run a terrarium team building workshop for one of their teams.
12. Always fun filming with Jimmy & Shivi for their breakfast show.
13-14. I’ve said goodbye to my old plant room in my home and moved into my new room in my garden. I’m still settling in but loving my new space.
15. I have some lovely clients! feel part of some teams when I pop in to maintain their plants every week.
Thank you all for your support this year.
Happy New Year!
Chantal 💚
