Twelve years ago, W2W were founded with the goal of providing work-focused support for people following a cancer diagnosis, allowing people to remain in, or return to, work. It has been an extremely rewarding journey knowing that we are making a difference to people’s lives and working lives. πŸ‘

Supporting people either during or following treatment, 76% of people who have been referred to our Cancer Work Support Service have successfully returned to and/or sustained work. πŸ“‹

Our service is designed and delivered by a specialist multidisciplinary team of HCPC-registered clinicians, with both service and clinicians receiving numerous awards since the services inception. πŸ†

Anthony Nolan matches individuals who are willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow, with people in desperate need of lifesaving transplants.

As part of our partnership, we support people following stem cell transplantation with our clinical work support services to help them return to and remain at work.

Having delivered a session with undergraduate physiotherapy students at the end of 2022, W2W's Sabita Seth recently spent time with physiotherapy masters students at the University of Essex.

Outlining vocational rehabilitation (VR) and exploring how key physiotherapy skills can be used to apply exercise as medicine to an extensive range of long-term conditions and injuries. They discussed the differences and overlaps between vocational rehabilitation and occupational health.
