Pumpkin carving fun at Manson House! 🎃 Our residents got into the Halloween spirit, creating some fantastic designs and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

Last week at Stowlangtoft Hall, our residents created beautiful autumn sun catchers with a nature theme 🍂 They looked stunning hanging in our activities window, catching the light for over a week before naturally drying out — leaving behind even more lovely autumn colours!

Cedars Place has had a little refresh ✨

We’ve been busy making upgrades throughout the home — from lighter, brighter spaces and new decorative touches to improved lighting, upgraded Wi-Fi, and calming scent diffusers to make every area feel even more welcoming.

Our visitors today at Manson House were some truly unique guests — Giant African Land Snails! 🐌 Their lovely owner, Lilly, shared lots of fascinating facts about these amazing creatures, and our residents were so interested to learn more. A big thank you to Craig and Lilly for visiting us!

Our lovely Manson House resident Tony kindly donated three bottles of wine for everyone to enjoy 🍷 Residents gathered for a relaxed afternoon of wine tasting, complete with a delicious selection of cheese and crackers — it was a real treat for all!

Last Wednesday at Manson House, we were entertained by the fantastic Matts Miller 🎶 He performed classic hits from legends like Glenn Miller and Frank Sinatra, and our residents absolutely loved every moment!

Last Friday, residents at Stowlangtoft Hall were treated to a lively afternoon of music and fun with the Wesley Ukulele Band! 🎶 The group performed plenty of old favourites, complete with train whistles, kazoos, and even a didgeridoo. Everyone joined in with clapping, singing, and percussion instruments — a fantastic time was had by all!

Happy Diwali from everyone at Manson House 🪔✨ Our residents celebrated the Festival of Lights by making beautiful paper lanterns — a lovely way to mark this special occasion together.

Our residents love getting creative at Manson House during our weekly art class 🎨✨

A huge thank you to our lovely carer, Claire Williams, who generously gives an hour and a half of her time each week to help residents with their artwork. Everyone really enjoys their sessions with Claire and has created some truly beautiful paintings and pastel drawings.

The bright, sunny weather recently allowed our Manson House residents to go out for a trip on the Rickshaw. Tim and Tony had a ride around the town and the Abbey Gardens, followed by tea at the Greene King cafe. Thank you very much Bury Rickshaw!
