Christmas Carols came to Nowton this afternoon, the Kingsgate Choir are just amazing, we filled the lounge room and the balcony, our residents had the best time and everyone joined in for an epic time. Merry Christmas

Wednesday was a real amazing Success, Christie’s Care Team with their staff and some of their clients came to Nowton Court for a super sized Coffee Morning, it allowed everyone to chat, ask questions to get the right answers that will help for their futures.

Come and Join us Christmas Shopping here at Nowton Court tomorrow from 2.30, we have Pale and Fade with a wide range of tops, jumpers, skirts etc also jewellery, bags , accessories, we have T’s Craft Corner, of course there will be Hot Chocolate, Mince Pies, chocolate treats. Not to be missed .

Arriving this morning as the frosty mist was rising was nature at its best, then our coffee morning was a full house, was a real buzz with amazing cakes baked in our kitchen. The afternoon brought a real nostalgic time, Frank the trumpet returned and we had compiled a list of songs for him to sing, a real turn back in time, Daisy, Daisy , fly me to the moon, you make me feel so young, catch a falling star to name but a few of the songs we were able to go down memory lane to reminisce.

Chair Yoga starts our Monday and an afternoon Bingo for Sweet treats, a great fun afternoon.

The wonderful Matthew came and spent the afternoon teaching painting with water colours and as you can see it was a huge success, everyone says I can’t paint but the results show something very different. We incorporated a general knowledge quiz , coffee, tea and biscuits.

Morning kicks off with Chair Yoga, followed by the afternoon with The Barn Owl Singers, all songs from the 60’s what a great time singing the afternoon away.

This week was 11/11 Remembrance morning and the afternoon of poetry some reflecting with soldier poems, sharing together is so important. Wednesday was amazing after coffee morning with the return of Neil Colledge the incredible Classical Pianist.
