✨ Closing a Chapter update💚✨

After 4 years with BreakEven Gambling Charity, my chapter there has wrapped. It was my first placement, my first self employed work, my grounding, and a huge part of my growth as a therapist — and I’m so grateful for it. ❤️

I’ll always work with addiction — it’s part of my roots and still a meaningful part of my caseload — but most of my practice now centres around:

✨ Chronic illness (especially MS & invisible conditions)
✨ Self-esteem, confidence & empowerment
✨ Identity, life transitions & rebuilding after tough chapters
✨ Anxiety, overthinking & emotional regulation
✨ Relationship patterns, attachment & boundaries
✨ Addiction (still part of my practice, always will be)
✨ Young adults navigating identity, purpose & big feelings
✨Grief

Coming later in the year:
✨ Animal bereavement support (specialist training) 🐈🐇🐄🐔🐕🐟🐢🐱🐴🐾

I have met the best of clients, colleagues and support through this work and I am so so thankful.

Here’s to endings with gratitude and new chapters that feel aligned AF. 🤍✨

Just a little update ❤️
From February 2026, my fees will be:

✨ Remote sessions: £55 (a £5 increase)
✨ Face-to-face sessions: £65 (staying the same)

This small adjustment helps me continue offering the depth, energy and care my clients deserve — especially as I balance my own health by reducing hours and keep my practice sustainable.

Thank you, truly, for your understanding and continued trust. 🤍

Guysss ✨

Italk a lot about calming your nervous system…
and then spend my evening watching Stranger Things while silently reminding myself to breathe.

Real life therapy in practice 😅👾☠️

Also if you’re my client and you’re watching it too… don’t worry, we can unpack it next session 🤣✨

Friendly reminder to unclench your jaw and remember your breathing techniques babessss 💨

(P.S if Steve Harrington dies this season I will not be available for sessions and I will be entering a period of deep emotional reflection... No questions asked..⚰️)

😘😜

Out of Office December dates ✨🎄

Just a heads up -

I’ll be out of office from 13th – 21st December for a short break.

I’ll still be working over the Christmas period, apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New year's Day. I will just be having the week off before. ✨

December has very limited availability now - and November is fully booked.

Wishing you a gentle and cosy winter season.

For the pet lovers who feel everything 💚

You might see a lot of kenneth on here 🐶 but my other babies live a little quieter — my indoor guinea pigs, Edna and Margaret 🐹💛

Grief doesn’t just belong to “big” pets. it belongs to the tiny ones too — the soft squeaks, the rustling hay, the little noses that greet you every morning. ♥️

Losing (or even seeing illness in) our pets can stir up huge emotions — love, guilt, sadness, even relief — and that’s all part of the process.
they shape our routines and our hearts in ways words barely cover.

We have a poorly piggie at the moment and it's a horrible feeling. If you’ve ever found yourself grieving a small pet and felt like you had to downplay it — you really don’t.

grief is valid no matter the size of the paws 🩶

A whole year ago… ☀️✨

I was searching for a little therapy room to rent for £10 an hour — just hoping to see a few clients in person after a few years of working remotely.

Then one day, in true impulsive main-character energy✨ I just… saw a room I loved, handed in my notice and went fully self-employed. No backup plan, just vibes (and maybe a mild panic attack) - just before Christmas.. 😳⛄

And somehow, it worked. ❤️

This year has been full of everything — laughter, tears, breakthroughs, “oh god I am the problem” moments, and more iced coffees than I’d ever admit.😅

My clients have shared their fears, their dreams, their Summer I Turned Pretty-level love stories, and 10/10 pet photos that could honestly heal anyone’s soul. 🐾 You guys have had me laughing with you, clapping for you, crying with you, rooting for you.

You’ve told me about the messy bits, the hopeful bits, the healing bits — and every single story has meant something. I’ve carried them all with me, with so much love and respect for how human we all are. 🥰

So to everyone who’s walked through my door (or joined online from their sofa with their cat on their lap) — thank you. You’ve made this year everything I hoped it could be and more.

Here’s to another year of iced coffees, inner growth, and laughing through the chaos 🪭💃

Just a small message to say I’m feeling a wave of MS fatigue at the moment, so a few appointments may need to be moved around this week while I rest and recharge. 🌻

Thank you so much for your understanding — I always aim to show up fully for my clients, and sometimes that means taking a little pause to ensure I can. 💛

An alternative session will always be offered!

⛄❄️ December Availability - limited ⛄❄️

Christmas can be one of the hardest times of the year for many people – whether that’s because of loneliness, grief, family pressures, or just the general overwhelm the season can bring. 💛🎄

You don’t have to go through this season alone. 🌲✨

Face to face sessions (1 hour) - £65
Longer one off session (1.5 hours) - £95

🌿 A lot of my counselling work is with people living with chronic illnesses + disabilities — and this post is for you - my strong + wonderful clients.

While I was in the Yorkshire Dales last week, I got my MRI results: 2 spinal cord lesions I didn’t know about (likely there since 2019 but we do not know).

Lesions like this can cause leg heaviness, numbness, fatigue with walking, bladder issues — things that don’t always show but are always felt.

The day before those results? I hiked a hard trail in the Dales — 20,000 steps of grit, gratitude, and stubbornness.

That’s the paradox of chronic illness: sometimes you’re doing the hard trail, sometimes the hard trail is just getting out of bed. Both are valid.

Don't mistake the days you see me out and working and everything seems fine - my wonderful long term clients know I have to have weeks off at time sometimes because those moments I'm unable to get out of bed or function. And nobody sees those days! ❤️

To my clients and to anyone carrying a diagnosis:
💜 You can hold grief and gratitude at the same time.
💜 You can look “fine” and be fighting a battle no one else sees.
💜 You are more than your symptoms, and you deserve gentleness in how you walk your path.

MS is part of my story, aswell as FND but it doesn’t define me. And neither does your diagnosis define you. ♥️🥰✨

✨ Got back from my much-needed break in the Yorkshire dales yesterday ✨

I’ll be catching up with messages and enquiries once I’m back in the office tomorrow. Thank you so much for your patience while I took this time to rest and recharge – it means a lot. 💛

Looking forward to being back and supporting you all again 🌿

🧡 Celebrating Neurodiversity 🧡

In a world where misinformation about autism and other neurodivergent identities still spreads, it’s more important than ever to pause and celebrate the richness of neurodiversity.

Autistic, ADHD, dyslexic and otherwise neurodivergent minds bring creativity, innovation, and new ways of seeing the world. There’s no “one right way” for a brain to work.

When we move away from myths — like claims linking everyday medicines link to autism — we make space for truth, compassion and support. We stop blaming and start understanding. ❤️💗

As a counsellor, I see daily how embracing differences helps people flourish. My amazing neurodivergent clients help me pause, have empathy and give me a glimpse of seeing the world their way and it's beautiful 🤎✨

Our role isn’t to “fix” neurodivergence but to create safe, affirming spaces where people can be themselves and thrive.

To the incredible mums of autistic children who have been made to feel like they need to defend themselves from myths like ‘paracetamol causes autism’ — please know you did nothing wrong. Your child’s autism is not your fault. In fact, it isn’t something to feel guilty about at all — your child is perfect exactly as they are. Your love, advocacy and presence are what truly matter ❤️✨☀️

My practice will celebrate neurodiversity today and every day. 🌈✨

It is the night before The Summer I Turned Pretty drops and the collective emotional breakdown begins. 🫠💕

My diary is ready, my tissues are stocked, and yes… my therapy slots are open for post-episode processing 😂💌

…However I’m fully booked until November — so by the time I’ve got space you might actually have processed your TSITP heartbreak and be ready to talk about real life again 🫠🌊🫶
