Ability Case Management are proud to support our Director David Lowe as he takes on the Bond Turner Mont Blanc Trek in the Alps this June. He will be raising funds for a charity who help people who have suffered serious life-changing injury to rebuild their lives.

The trek will take David through France, Italy & Switzerland over three days and circle the highest peak in Western Europe. We are right behind David, and to show our support we are donating £1 for every 1km he clocks up in training. If you are able to support, any donation would be very gratefully received.
Every pound raised will help people and families affected by major trauma:

£60 could fund an hour of counselling support.
£300 could provide an emergency grant for families facing sudden costs.
£1,010 could fund a caseworker for a week, offering vital one-to-one support.
You can follow David’s training and donate using the link below.

Last year’s event was truly amazing, and we are delighted to be attending another wonderful evening at the SIA Cornflower Ball next week.
The Cornflower Ball is a meaningful fundraising event for the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA), helping to raise vital funds and awareness to support people living with spinal cord injury across the UK. This support enables the SIA to continue providing essential services that empower individuals to live fulfilled and independent lives.
We can’t wait to see everyone again for another fantastic and meaningful evening. Come and say hi!

Corinne attended the Independent Living Trials – A Battle Worth Fighting conference, which reinforced the importance of creating safe, flexible, and person‑centred opportunities for people to explore bespoke independent living options.

The event highlighted the need for collaborative, thoughtful planning, positive risk‑taking, and ability to revise and change plans as required to provide true inclusivity. Ensuring the individual’s voice remains at the centre of every decision.
