Yesterday marked our first Learn, Connect and Grow session, and like any new initiative, it wasn't without it's teething problems!
Finding a space that is accessible, welcoming, and offers meaningful access to nature proved far more challenging than it should be. It’s been a real eye opener, highlighting some of the very barriers our clients face when trying to connect with the natural world.
Despite this, we were joined by a wonderful group of people who met those challenges with openness and resilience. It was inspiring to already see early connections forming, both with nature and with each other.
With six more sessions to go in this pilot nature and psychoeducation project, we’re excited to continue learning and growing alongside our participants, and we look forward to sharing our insights and outcomes in the near future.
