A very big, belated thank you to the wonderful ladies of the Ramsbottom Soroptimists for gifting us with some lovely daffodils...
They are a global voice for women, striving, through awareness, advocacy & action, for human rights for all, equality, development and peace through International goodwill and understanding.
Their aim is to promote justice and equality by education to enable and empower women through economic independence and encourage and enable greater participation in decision making at all levels of society.

Mother’s Day can be a beautiful day of celebration, but for many it is also a day of remembrance.

Today we hold space for the mothers who are no longer with us, yet remain forever present in the hearts of those who love them. Their kindness, strength, wisdom and love continue to live on in the memories they created and the lives they shaped.

To anyone missing their mum this weekend, please know you are not alone. We remember them with you.
