It was a lovely evening at our Paint & Sip event at Bury Hospice. Everyone painted a candle in memory of someone special, which they have taken home as a beautiful keepsake. Thank you to everyone who attended and for helping us raise vital funds for the hospice 💜

Leckenby's Licensed Tearooms has donated a raffle prize for a prosecco afternoon tea to John, who is dancing in this year's Strictly competition with his wife, Karen.

In 2023-24, UK hospices supported 89,000 family members, friends and carers with things like counselling, complementary therapy, and bereavement services (Source: 2023-24 Hospice UK survey).

Hospice care is free at the point of use. But, unlike the NHS, it is not fully state funded.
