Mind & Body Retreats REtreats and themed holidays We are exited about this year's May retreat and it's approaching fast. We like to do as much outside as possible.

What we really like about this retreat is getting to know people that much better and appreciating their specialness that can often be overlooked. That is not quite the same with a larger retreat

Here is a sample of the weekend activities although everything can be subject to last minute change and we will definately be working around the weather. Upon arrival on the Friday:

After settling into your room you can join us either outside on the lawn or in the yoga room for some easy postures to revitalise from the journey and prepare for the evening meal which is at 6pm

Evening meal consists of 3 courses on a serve yourself arrangement. Meals are vegetarian and it's usually soup to start. You can request meat or if you have any special dietary requirments then please let us know in advance. On the first evening we could take a stroll around the circluar walk around the grounds taking us through the wooded copse, the herb and kitchen garden and the stable block, the sunken garden and old tennis court lawn and past the labyrinth lawn. There will be a social activity and Yin Yoga class to prepare for bed. Saturday

Morning Yoga before breakfast

Breakfast is continental with boiled egg. After breakfast there will be a discussion session followed by meditation. Refreshments will be available mid morning. Two course lunch will normally be a mixed salad selection or quiche and salad followed by a pudding course. After lunch there will be a workshop or discussion followed by the daytime Yoga session with refreshments available and healthy(ish) home made cakes miraclulously appearing mid afternoon. After the evening meal we will be possibly preparing for and carrying out a labyrinth mediation in the grounds followed by a stroll into the village or an alternative socialising activity. Yin Yoga before bed. Sunday will include a pre-breakfast yoga session, an activity to allow breakfast to settle followed by a meditation session. Lunch and a yoga session to prepare for the journey home. Some of the activites we have planned are:

A variety of yoga and relaxation and meditation sessions. Workshops and discusiions i.e. discover your focus in life. Labyrinth meditation

Lantern ceremony

Laughter workshop

Group appreciation exercise. You are encouraged to take time out for your own practice or for peaceful contemplation, reading, a quiet chat or a stroll. Please don't feel obliged to join in every activity but equally you are most welcome to do so. Cost £275 required £175 deposit

From the drop down list choose ad hoc payment and choose how much you want to pay as deposit (minimum at this stage £175)

Retreat: Deposit to secure your place is non refundable and forms a comitment to pay the balance by the due date. If you have to cancel we will try to find a replacement and will refund as much of your balance as possible according to how much discount we have to offer to sell your booking.
