Bury Shopmobility Bury Shopmoblility provides scooters & wheelchairs to facilitate independent shopping & socialising.

We hire out electric scooters, electric wheelchairs and maunal wheelchairs for the use of our members. To become a member, two forms of ID are required and both need to show the name and address of the person(s) joining. Membership is £12.50 annually with a additional session cost of £3 or £5 for the full day (09:30 - 3:30) or we offer a Daily Hire service for £10 per trip. We are open as normal on Saturday (27th), Monday (29th) and Tuesday (30th) with a half day on Wednesday (31st)

Wheelchair Day Hire: Unchanged at £10
Millgate Wheelchair Hire: £5
Long term wheelchair hire: £7 per day for non-members, £5 for members with a £50 refundable deposit.

Due to inclement weather and a poorly heating system, we have had to close early today.

** Important Notice **

In 2024 alone, we have to find an additional £3,000 to remain in the same position we are in now, which is operating at a controlled loss.

We don't like increasing prices but, unfortunately, the realities of our position mean it is likely that prices will rise more frequently.
