Pre-habilitation prior to elective cardiac surgery is something I’m passionate about.
It’s a relatively new concept in Cardiac Rehabilitation, which (as the name implies) normally focuses on the patient after their cardiac event.
However, a significant number of people are aware they are going to have cardiac surgery before their procedure and it’s these people who can benefit immensely from Cardiac Pre-habilitation.
