I’m Thomas, a Usui Reiki practitioner with seven years of dedicated practice in holistic healing. My journey began not as a practitioner, but as someone seeking healing and wholeness. Through my own experiences as a client, I discovered the remarkable transformation possible when we address healing holistically. I trained in the Usui Reiki lineage through Lisa Powers, tracing directly back to Mikao Usui via Hawayo Takata and William Rand. I continue to evolve as a practitioner through advanced training and personal study. These experiences, both receiving and offering healing, have shaped my understanding of the gentle yet powerful nature of energy work. My practice is grounded in the recognition that physical, emotional, and spiritual health are intimately connected. Chronic stress can affect sleep, digestion, and overall vitality. Through compassionate, hands-on energy healing, we work together to restore harmony within your body’s natural systems, supporting your own healing capacity. I honor conventional medicine while offering complementary support. Each session is an opportunity to reconnect with your healing wisdom and experience the transformative power of energy work. I just completed an online Introduction to Acupuncture course and passed with distinction 🎉
It provided a clear understanding of how this ancient tradition works and why people are drawn to it ✨
While it doesn’t qualify you to practice, it’s a solid starting point if you want to explore this path 🌿
As an energy healer, this course deepened my understanding of how energy (or Qi in Traditional Chinese Medicine) needs to flow freely through the system in order for health and vitality to be maintained. When energy stagnates in the organs or meridians, the subtle energy highways of the body, it can throw us off balance and lead to a wide range of physical, emotional, and mental issues. Gentle interventions can help restore balance 💫

If you’re new to Reiki would like to understand the basics, I highly recommend the book Reiki by Tammaya Honervogt. I actually found my copy for just £1 in a charity shop, and it turned out to be such a gem.

The book gives a clear and welcoming introduction to Reiki. It explains what Reiki is, how it works, and the many ways it can support your well-being. You’ll learn about its benefits, from easing stress to restoring balance in your energy, and it even shares simple techniques you can start practicing right away.

If you’re beginning your Reiki journey or thinking about learning more, this book is a great place to start.

✨ Understanding Your 7 Chakras: Your Body's Vital Energy Centers ✨

Your chakras are spinning energy centers that run along your spine, each governing different aspects of your physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. When these energy centers are balanced and flowing freely, you feel centered and healthy. But when they're blocked or imbalanced, you might experience:

Physical discomfort or illness
A rollercoaster of emotional ups and downs
Feeling stuck or disconnected
Mental fog or anxiety
Depression or fatigue
