Here at Portland Nursing Home we provide an environment which provides guidance and support to maintain and enhance quality of life.
Situated at the heart of historic Buxton in the famous High Peak area, our sympathetically restored and extended period home supports a small community of residents. Our priority is in delivering care that maintains the dignity and individuality of each person, providing both physical and mental stimulation for those with residential and nursing care needs.
Our facilities have been tastefully adapted to provide easy access for those with lower mobility, providing suitable wheelchair access along with a lift to all floors. All of our rooms have top of the range facilities to make sure residents are comfortable, including TV points, en-suite facilities and comfortable furnishings.
We work with residents and their families to create an individual care plan that will support the resident in continuing their happy and fulfilling life. Every day, carers spend time with residents to ensure they experience maximum physical and mental stimulation.
