Connex Care and Support We provide one-to-one support and group activities to support disabled children and adults We now support Adults up to the age of 55 years.

Aspire Disability Support Services have been supporting children and young people with disabilities for more than 15 years. We support individuals with a variety of disabilities and additional needs from mild needs to severe/complex needs. This support can be in the home or even out in the community. Our service is a project run by the Voluntary and Community Services Peaks and Dales and our office is based in Buxton, Derbyshire. We cover support in the High Peak, Derbyshire Dales and Chesterfield area primarily and we also have a service in Tameside. We can provide support in other areas depending on funding.

Today we’re celebrating the power of friendship at Connex Care and Support.

Making new friends, sharing stories, enjoying a cuppa together or simply having someone to talk to can make such a positive difference to wellbeing. We see every day how connection and companionship help people feel supported, valued and less isolated.

Care is not just about practical support — it’s about building meaningful relationships and creating opportunities for people to feel part of their community.

We’ve officially joined the ChatGPT work caricature trend… and we may have had too much fun with it 😂

First up: Kate, Rachael and Julie – brought to life in full office-mode glory (printer battles, coffee dependency and all ☕🖨️).

We’re not saying the caricatures are 100% accurate… but we’re also not not saying that either 👀🤣

✨ What a fantastic evening Katy had! ✨

Last night, Katy enjoyed a brilliant night out at Buxton Opera House, watching Man in theMirror — the MJ tribute act 🎤🕺

The evening kicked off with a delicious meal and mocktails at Sacro Lounge , before heading to the Opera House for an unforgettable show. Katy loved every minute!

The highlight? Katy even got her hat signed, gifted the performer a beautiful drawing she made herself, and had a photo taken — memories to treasure forever 💙

A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Buxton Opera House House, who were so helpful and welcoming throughout the evening.

Supporting people to enjoy the things they love and stay connected to their community is at the heart of what we do 🌟
