8 Years ago today, two Buxton Personal Trainers merged together to set up a facility with a mission to show that fitness is for all!
Affordable personal training, in small groups. No matter their, age, gender, disabilities or fitness levels.
But we never anticipated building a community of incredible clients where true, long term friendships were formed.
It seemed like only yesterday that we officially opened our doors.
We went from surviving a brutal pandemic, closing our doors for almost an entire year, to outgrowing our first facility, moving into our new home, and winning an award for "Best Health and Fitness Business in Derbyshire" 💪🏆
We've had a team of incredible Coaches work with us to provide a service that we are proud of!
So as we head towards our 10 year milestone, we want to thank the HUNDREDS of members past and present who have made our job that much more enjoyable over the years👌

Jody’s incredible 21-month transformation 💪
When Jody walked through our doors in April 2024, she was ready for change. Fast forward to today, and the results speak for themselves:

Lisa joined us back in March last year and has been quietly getting the work done ever since. 💪
As a self-employed hairdresser, long days on her feet are part of the job, so training is all about feeling strong, mobile, and energised — not wrecked.
Outside the gym, Lisa loves nothing more than long walks with her husband and their dog, Shelby 🐶 (who definitely keeps her steps high).
She’s usually an early bird at the 7am sessions, but if she’s got a day off, you might spot her enjoying the luxury of the 8am instead — living the dream. 😄
And when she feels like she needs a little extra push, Lisa isn’t afraid to jump into one of our 6-week challenges to tighten things up and get that extra nutrition accountability back on track.

Last year, one of our coaches, Helen, kept a low profile with her PT sessions because she was already fully booked – and any spare time went into preparing for the NPA Bodybuilding Championships. 🏆
Helen is now opening up very limited availability for 1:1 or pairs personal training, and these are the only slots currently available:
Saturdays:

We first set the facility up 2.5 years and we did this because both Dave and Callum were personal trainers at another local gym.
Personal training can be quite expensive, costing around £20-30 per one-hour session.
They found that lots of people were interested in personal training but just couldn’t afford it.
So they wanted to make it more affordable and more accessible to more people.
That is when they decided to set up PT Corner.
They moved from the 1-2-1 personal training model they used to offer and now offer ‘group personal training.’
What does this mean?
It means you share a personal training session in a small group which reduces the price massively whilst still keeping that personal training involvement.
It also means you get multiple sessions throughout the month instead of perhaps just the one per week you could afford with 1-2-1 personal training.
