I find this exercise the toughest one to do with control especially with my hammer toes😂 Gaging the weight you put into the bar and when you take the weight into your core and let the legs be light takes some practice and body awareness. My hamstring is almost recovered but I can definitely feel it with this one. It’s the one exercise I hover over clients and hold that bar too 😂 This is how I get I. And out of this exercise safely !

If your legs feel squishy going into perimenopause or menopause- we will blitz that feeling with exercises like this. They might feel like jelly afterwards though😂💪😍keeping it a steady flowing pace with balance is a challenge as you can see.

In business you need support. This lady has been the biggest support for me and my children, over the years looking after Ella-Rose and Hugo since they were babies till we left London 5 yrs ago. Yesterday we were able to celebrate with Davina her baby shower and it’s her time to have a baby now ❤️ Many clients will remember Davina picking up Ella-Rose and Hugo from different venues I was running classes at and houses . The most amazing Nanny anyone could have, who treated my children like her own . That enabled me to feel happy to keep my business running through some exhausting and challenging times. I definitely know my business is only as good as the support around me, whether that’s family, teachers working for me or clients that join us. Always find a way to have the best energy and vibration you can and you will attract good energy back. ❤️ Happy Sunday and Thank you for all your support 🙏

No matter what your age, no matter what ailments or limitations you have with your movement, pilates will help you progress and improve your movement, it will enhance your well being , it will develop your social interaction, and so much more ……. pilates can be fancy movements on reformers that look impressive, but most importantly, it’s a practise that provides body awareness that develops and improves week by week, it provides confidence and a sense of achievement that you might not have gained otherwise. Cathy and Eileen were keen to give the equipment pilates a go and they improve and develop each week. I can’t wait to show you how far they have come by the end of term. So proud of their bravery and keenness to keep going and progress. Each week I see where we need to layer on movement to help facilitate understanding other movements. We reduce spring tension so not to flare up arthritis but focus on movement as this helps with our joints . We observe any imbalances, so we know what unilateral work to do for strength. Progress not perfection. Just remember you are never too old to start. Eileen started with me at 84 yrs old . It’s a privilege and reward to be a pilates teacher for all.

A little intro - better late than never 😂 I hope your a quick reader as this should have been a post not a reel, but there we go😂pause the video if you want to read . It took me ages so I hope you do 😁 Thank you for being my teachers when I really needed you❤️ I was so lucky to have the best teachers and the best support when the babies were young . It’s great seeing you all happy and successful in your own right .
