We had a fabulous evening at our Sister circle. It was part 2 of our grounding & protection practices.
Last night we discussed some shamanic practices, enjoyed some breathwork then went journeying to meet our power animal of protection.

PROUD MAMA

I am so proud of my daughter Jasmine.
She has just reached the end of her degree and handed in her dissertation, and wow, I have to say, it really is a powerful read. Part of the title alone says it all...

“Sex sells, but at what cost?”

Over the months watching her work on this has opened up so many conversations between us. Memories from my own life, moments that were deemed as “normal". But when you look at it now, it tells a very different story.

Her focus is on fashion branding and marketing, and the way women’s bodies have been used to sell.

And OMG, some of them are NOT subtle...
And the messaging that's built into these campaigns & trends are mad. Many of us grew up surrounded by all this and just blindly accepted.
(Some examples below).

But of course this goes far beyond fashion, doesn't it?

But now Women are really starting to question, and speak out about things more, No longer willing to quietly accept it,any of it...

So I feel really proud that my daughter is part of this rising awareness. Just by baseing her discertation on this topic challenges and highlights the old narratives, that spills into so much in life, and makes people more aware.

I don’t follow any religion, but what a shift, seeing Sarah Mullally step into the role of Archbishop within the Church of England, This really is history being forced to move.

After around 1,400 years of men in the church holding all the power, a woman now stands in HER own power, (will it be any different, time will tell), but this alone tells you everything about the times we are living in.

For me, these are real signs of the beginning of the fall of the patriarchal system.
But of course there will be resistance from the people still hanging on to the old ways.

Many are calling her new position, immoral, saying it goes against tradition, against what they believe religion should be, that women don't belong with this level of authority.

But those voices are all echoes from an OLD system that is already starting to crack.
Because these beliefs are outdated, They were built in a time where control mattered more than BALANCE, where power was kept in the hands of afew, - mainly MEN.

but the world IS changing -
It goes far beyond the church. It's a wider shift that is happening everywhere.
Women rising, being seen, being heard, taking their place in spaces we were once shut out of.

This isn't about dominance, it's about restoring BALANCE.
And once that balance begins to return, there is no going back to how it was.

Happy heavenly birthday to my lovely Mum.
She died when she was only 58, and she would be 79 today. Sometimes it seems like such a long time ago, and other times just yesterday.

I miss her every day. And I'm sad that she's missed all the big milestones of life and my family.

Shes not here physically but I know her spirit is, I felt her yesterday when I was out walking a butterfly flew around me (that's our sign).

I really think the death of a loved one is one of the hardest things we go through in life.

So I'm sending a big hug to anyone who feels this. 🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂

Old thoughts, Old patterns, or maybe a belief we’ve been carrying.

I stepped away from the church & organised religion years ago, when I was a teenager. I'm grateful for those years, because I can see both sides, I have something to compare with.

But I feel devotion is personal, it should come from your heart, a feeling that's primal, comforting, loving & found within OURSELVES.

Imagine a world where we could all live together, doing our own thing without judgement, fear & equality.

This is all part of the fall of the patriarchal world we've all lived in for thousands of years. A new way is being birthed..., A RE-membering.

I’d love to know, how you feel about this, maybe you have taken pieces of where you came from… and reshaped them into something that fits who you are NOW?

I thought I'd share this, I was driving to work on Friday when a hare suddenly ran across the road in front of me, and it totally felt like a message.

Hares are messengers of transition, intuition, and renewal. Their appearance can remind us to trust our instincts and notice shifts or even transitions in life.

It felt so apt, right now my feelings are BIG. I can literally feel my female ancestors in me, their voices rising for justice. I feel heartbreak for the silencing and abuse of women and children, and the way sacred feminine truth has been erased, through religion.

And yet, I am grateful. Grateful for my life, for the change happening, and for the work I do.
Excitement - frustration, wonder, feelings that I'm holding, all at once, does this feel familiar to you ?

The hare reminded me, transformation doesn't always appear softly, Sometimes it demands your attention. And in that, we find the courage to witness, feel, yet hold the ability to move forward, to be grateful and live life with an open heart, without losing ourselves.

We’ll begin with a gentle release ritual— A moment to let go of what feels heavy, and open that space with something new.

We’ll then move into the breath. A guided breathwork session to open the body, & clear the mind, ready to draw in fresh new energy, into every part of you.

Then its time to chill & integrate, journal, draw cards, then sink into the warmth of the hot tub, or move between heat and cold, & feel your body awake, & your energy shift.

There will also be some nice nibble platters served, to help ground and relax.
We'll then share a heart warming cacao or hot drink, and flow into a deep meditation.

This day is spacious, and as open as you want, we will go with the flow.
There is no rush. Just warmth, water, breath, fire, and a quiet return to yourself.

Well that’s March coming to a close… and we celebrate the return of the light, as the earth finally begins to awaken.

I’ve always loved the dark months of hibernation, candles, cosy blankets and the going within. But by the end of February, I'm yearning for the light mornings, and long evenings in the garden.

This year I really honoured that in-between space. I didn’t rush the start of the year. I let myself rest, unfurling in my own time… and it’s felt really good, almost nourishing for my soul.

And now I feel my energy beginning to rise again, and a wee spark of excitement for what the year will bring...

March has held some really special moments,
Celebrating my dad’s birthday, 🎂
🌿🌿 - enjoying the wild garlic season
🌱🌱- marking the shift of the season, with Ostara.
✨ - Sharing space with my 1:1 clients and my sisters in our monthly circle.

I also completed a piece of writing that’s been slowly weaving itself together this last year, which has felt good to complete.

So I close this month feeling grateful, with a quiet excitement for the coming year.
