Yesterday I started to feel anxiety rise a little as I was thinking about Daisy’s op, next week. So I decided to make the whole day about comfort.
So I began with a batch of rolls. (I’m starting to think I’ve developed a wee bread-making obsession, because now I'm on to rolls) 😂.
And while they baked, I sat with my coffee, candles and insence on, and carried on with some of my writing.
After a slow brunch, I had fun in my own kitchen making some potions of my own, face and body balms, face oils, and some lip balms. And a new recipe perfume roller, that smells amazing.
Then me and Daisy went into the cabin for an hour to really check in with myself, with a cacao and a deep meditation.
I don't know about you but when I feel this way, I always come back to comfort first, but then I also make time to sit with the emotions moving inside me.
Comfort and giving time to our emotions belong together.
