We’re excited to announce that our pharmacy is now proudly catering for children and families. We have introduced a wide range of high-quality baby and child essentials from trusted brands including Clair de Lune, Babymoov, Cosatto, and Gooseybub, to name just a few.
Our collection includes Hippychick Packasuits, fully waterproof with taped seams—perfect for keeping little ones warm and dry on rainy days. You’ll also find changing mats for home and travel, a variety of stylish and practical changing bags, blankets, mealtime essentials, stair gates, footmuffs, and much more.
We currently have a Clair de Lune Moses basket available at less than half price, as it was a display item—an excellent opportunity to grab a premium product at a fantastic value.
In addition, we’ve expanded our range to include children’s toys at great prices, so you’re welcome to pop in, have a look, and let your little ones try them out.
Please come in and see what we have to offer—we’d love to help you find the perfect items for your family.

We would just like to acknowledge that we have seen the negative response to our latest post. This was never intended to patronise or blame patients for not collecting their medication. We completely understand that in some situations this is unavoidable, however we were hoping to highlight the health boards latest campaign of ‘Only ordering what you need’. We thank all our patients for their continued support.

💊💊💊Hopefully 🤞 our third and final attempt at transferring to our new owner will be happening this Friday 10th of October. Please note prescriptions will most likely take longer to be dispensed in the upcoming days as we take on a much greater workload than normal. ‼️As many of you may be aware our transition to our new owner didn’t go as planned last month. We are now intending to work our last day as an Avicenna Pharmacy this Thursday 25th September. If you have a prescription here waiting to collect we’d hugely appreciate it if it could be collected by this date. We are open 8.45-6.30pm this week and shut for lunch between 1.30-2.30pm. Again we ask for patience and kindness during this take over period as lots of work is going on behind the scenes. Many thanks the girls in Richeld ‼️

💊💊💊If all goes to plan 🤞 our last day of trading for Avicenna will be upcoming Thursday (28th August) before we transfer to our new owner. Please, if possible come and collect any dispensed prescriptions or owing items before this date. This will help us immensely. Please bear in mind that a lot of work is taking place behind the scenes before the take over so the waiting time for prescriptions will most likely be longer than usual. Patience, understanding and kindness will greatly be appreciated by all staff. Please feel free to share this status as we need to get this message out as wide as possible. Thank you.
