What a great day at team training today!

Fiona gave a fantastic presentation on the new Community Glaucoma Service. We are proud to have two of the first practices in Forth Valley to provide clinics which, for some patients will keep glaucoma care in the community.

We welcomed Lisa from Glaucoma UK to speak to the team about the support and services that they can provide to both ourselves and glaucoma patients.

Michele from Hoya Lens UK joined us to discuss the latest varifocal to their offerings, the MySelf Profile, a lens which uses advanced lens technology to create the most comfortable visual experience at all distances.

Andrew discussed the new specialist supplementary service provided by our three independent prescribing optometrists. This enables us to provide treatment for 10 acute anterior eye conditions that may otherwise end up in Hospital Eye Services.

Optometry marches on at a fast pace but at Baird Optometrists, you can be sure that we are keeping up to date!
