Fit For Life massage therapy offers a range of massage techniques specifically tailored for each client's individual needs. WHAT TO EXPECT?

FEEL FIT FOR SPORT, FEEL FIT FOR LIFE! Massage is a safe, effective treatment which:
- promotes relaxation
- alleviates muscular aches and tension
- improves circulation and range of movement
- releases the body's "feel good" endorphins

A variety of different massage techniques combine to provide a treatment that is individually tailored for you. So whether you are a sports person using regular "maintenance" sports massages to retain your peak performance or you just want an hour to relax and be pampered in calm, restful surroundings, then massage is the treatment for you. A consultation is carried out at the beginning of your first visit. This will add approximately 10 minutes to your initial appointment time and is free of charge. This allows the therapist to assess your needs, discuss any health issues and tailor your treatment accordingly. Treatments are carried out in a relaxed, calm therapy room with private changing room, WC and shower. Massage does not require the client to undress fully. At all times, the client is covered and their modesty and dignity respected. Only the area being treated is uncovered at any time. PRICES

£20 - 30 mins

- Full Body Swedish Massage - 60 mins
- Sports Massage - 45-60 mins
- Back, neck, shoulders and arms - 45 mins
- Legs and feet - 30 mins
- Back, neck and shoulders - 30 mins

Finally got my new website all updated. It now includes information about lymphoedema treatment offered - "Manual Lymphatic Drainage". This is a specialist massage consisting of gentle, specific hand movements to help clear the lymph vessels and encourage movement of fluid away from affected areas of swelling.

Lymphoedema is swelling caused by a build-up of tissue fluids, maybe due to radiotherapy, surgery, cancer treatment or trauma.

Very excited to now be able to offer lymphatic drainage massage to clients. Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is part of a range of treatments that helps to manage and reduce lymphoedema that can develop after injuries, operations and cancer treatment. Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle and relaxing way to reduce excess fluid in limbs and works well in conjunction with sports massage to help recovery from injuries.
