For those of you who have experienced Childhood or Adult Abuse (like me and so many others) 'Embrace Everest,' or face the Mountain of Greatest Challenge.

The biggest challenge is to face up and speak out against all abuse. Do not allow abusers to silence you. Silence is only golden for those who abuse.

This film is about those who have been abused in childhood who went on the adventure of facing the challenge of reaching Everest base Camp.

They had already faced the challenge of speaking out against their abusers and these lucky people were believed in the end. Now they speak out for the rest of you.

Don't watch street harassment in silence - ask 'Are you Okay?'

My advice: "Whatever your friends tell you, 'Never Remain Silent' if you experience any Bullying, Harassment, Intimidation, Slander, Libel or threats, too yourself or to others, Intervene politely & safely when you can and get them to desist (or you will report to the police and Safeguarding Teams). Then report them to the most appropriate authority" if they fail to stop.

Street harassment is on the rise and is often not an isolated incident. We know the long-term impact can harm mental health and change people’s behaviour. Victims often feel guilty, ashamed, and blame themselves.

Witnessing street harassment and not safely intervening sends the message to those experiencing it that it’s okay and society normalises it. Ongoing acceptance of street harassment contributes to a toxic culture. We want to change this, but we need your help.
